The puzzles did not feel linear. Honestly, it was this game that almost made me refund the other 2 for Escape First games. I'm glad I didn't but this game is definitely not for the faint of heart. It's frustrating, takes time and a lot of patience. The lighting in it was fine though and I liked the concepts. Still fun.
Solving puzzles with friends can swing wildly between brilliant teamwork and full on hatred towards one another. It captures the spirit of real escape rooms well enough, there’s genuine satisfaction in getting each code before you realise that was only the starting one and you're almost out of time already. It is janky and dated but okay enough for an escape room game.
Ok puzzles, 6.5/10
played 2/3, will update on the 3rd. 1st room,4/5 rate clown room, was really fun, the hints were helpful and the puzzles logical if difficult. 2nd room, 2/5 rate, red button, the hints were not helpful, they didnt have extra hints written in, so if the hint they gave didnt make sense, that was it, no more help. puzzles much harder, triangle room puzzle is a gip. still enjoyable , did like that there was more rooms to explore tho. so far good date night game, controls arent bad.
I recommend this game. It's the second title from the developers, and I have mixed feelings about it. The controls can feel a bit awkward at times, but the puzzles are well designed and enjoyable to solve. While it isn't as polished as the team's latest game, it's still a solid escape room experience that's worth playing if you enjoy puzzle games.
Sadly the VR support is horrible. There seems to be only snap turning and every time you turn creates a weird sound effect. In Desktop mode it is playable.
