Equinox: Homecoming

If you are looking for a mystery game with horses, this sort of fits the bill. There's a mystery, and there are horses, but there isn't much "game" in my opinion. All of the quests boil down to "go here and press the 'e' button". There are no dialogue options to choose and no skill-based minigames. The story is entertaining, the riding feels AMAZING, and the map is beautiful. My biggest thumbs-up is for how fluid the riding and scenery meld. You don't have to follow the roads to get where you want to go, and you can find neat views and cool places just riding around. My biggest gripes- you have to use special gold currency to purchase different horses. Biggest letdown ever, since to get those gold coins you have to progress main quest lines and do all the side-quests, which are different than the "task" quests. IMO a horse game should let you Get Horses, especially if the different horses have different stats. Even RDR2 let you have a few extra horses for different purposes. I don't want to get to the end of the game and not have gotten a new horse. I also don't want to pay real world dollars to unlock new horses. Also, I am more forgiving of this because it takes so much extra time and coding, the world feels empty. In the forest areas, no problem. In the town, it feels like a ghost town. No one moves, there are no extraneous NPCs, and as far as I have seen we are the only person who actually gets on a horse. Part of that may be I am not on very populous servers? I am not sure. But the only MMO aspect I have gotten is from the events, which are actually fun. TLDR: great game for riding around and getting a good story, not for collecting/customizing horses.

Mi juego favorito de este verano, hay muchas actividades diferentes, carreras y el cabalgar por los paisajes de la isla descubriendo los secretos de esta y la historia que hay detrás de las desapariciones engancha; te hace querer investigar y saber mas de la historia principal. La única pega es que no esta en español pero el ingles del juego es bastante sencillo e intuitivo, lo recomiendo si eres fan de los caballos, la equitación y los críptidos como yo.

I saw videos from the dev on their media platforms and as a born and raised farm kid, this spoke to me on a spiritual level. My biggest issues with games that have had horses in them is the lack of realism in them, but the devs for this game really hit the nail on the head. I have loved every hour of this game, both for its animations but also for its story. The story keeps bringing me back in and I can't wait to see where the game goes from here.

Nápad skvělý. Nicméně hra je špatně optimalizovaná, plná glitchů, což kazí dojem z hry a možnost se do ní ponořit. Mechanika jízdy by mohla být také lepší a chybí mi stejně jako ve většině her zajímavější péče o koně a rozvinutější zábavnější zpracovaní. Hra v upoutávce působí lépe propracovaně. A ještě takový detail - ten kořen nosu u postav vypadá z profilu děsivě.

Played this game for 25 hours.... Really enjoyable! The quests are really fun and the story is pretty rich. The npc dialogue can be long winded but you can just skip though some of it and still understand the plot. My friends and I enjoy taking 'trail rides' together. This is a relaxing and beautiful game! I can't wait to see what else they will add!
