Eonia Revelations is a richer, more beautiful evolution of the first game. You play as a knowledge seeker exploring a stunning world while collecting samples, completing quests and uncovering secrets. I love how observant you have to be. Hidden paths, secret areas, every nook hides something and the game rewards players who take their time. The game is calm, immersive and full of secrets waiting to be uncovered. A beautiful, atmospheric experience that I’m excited to keep exploring.
A really nice, chill game. It's great to just relax and explore the world and all its mysteries. Definitely worth a look
I played the original Eonia and this one feels like an improved, more polished and intriguing sequel. it a chill game to relax and solve puzzles while you explore the world of eonia. So far loving every aspect of it, and the developer is super responsive to questions and feedback. Recommend.
Everything about this game is great! The art style is so cool and unique it doesn't feel like anything I've played before. And as someone who loves games that put thought into the lore and history of the world they've built this game comes with so much lore that you feel like you are part of the world. The loading between zones is quickly and clean. Honestly not a thing I can say bad about this game.
This is a beautiful game! I feel like I've fallen into a Dr. Seuss land! There is a TON of lore to read, and I LOVE IT! There is so much exploration to do and discovery to be had! I'm 9.2 hours in, and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of this game! The dev is awesome, too! It's been such a treat to read the discussions, as they are mainly presented in role-playing form lol! But the dev is on top of everything and highly responsive. You can really tell they are passionate about their game! Highly recommended!!
In Eonia Revelations, you take on the role of Albius, an apprentice Knowledge Seeker, eager to explore a fantastic world full of mysteries. The world is full of an intriguing mix of science, technology, fantasy, perhaps even an ever so slight touch of societal struggle. Not to fear, though. The tone of the rich lore of this world is kept light and comedic, yet with an impressive amount of detail. This artistically crafted world of Eonia is pleasing to look at and explore. Learning the lay of the land is pretty easy just by completing training provided by the Masters. As one explores off the beaten path, you may find that things sometimes connect in unexpected ways. And let's never underestimate the tirelessly working Maintenance crew... This is still Early Access, and there will be extra content added, but the content already available keeps me in anticipation. I cannot wait to see what else this talented dev has in store for the game. Meanwhile, thanks to Wasdeerio, the solo developer, for sharing this vision. It's an honor to participate in Early Access, help find any leftover quirks, and provide him with sleepless nights.
I'm highly impressed with Wasdeerio, the solo dev, because of the devotion to the project and the desire, willingness and ability to fix any bug we find during Early Access. Chatting with Wasdeerio and other community players on the discussion board has been, and still is, an upliiftng and educational experience. As for the game itself, it's intuitive to a great extent when you study the stories that are continually added to as you progress; the NPCs are hilarious, especially the author of some of the guide books whose ego goes to infinity and beyond; and the blend of sci-fi, fantasy, color, puzzles, 3-D rendition, fast travel, map system and music are artfully crafted into an exploratory adventure. I've been at it for 50+ hours and I'm still at level 0, and that's fine. It's certainly addictive and no matter what happens. I have the urge to solve it all. even if I do fall asleep at the KB most nights. Each completed activity and level adds more content and progession, and there's no way I'll give those snooty NPCs the pleasure of seeing me fail.
This is a chill adventure/exploration game with a really nice hand-drawn art style and lots of lore, with strange artefacts, weird animals and plants plus a good helping of humour. The world seems very large though I am still at an early stage so I will update my review as I progress further.
I’ve put a good number of hours into Eonia, and it honestly surprised me in a really good way. Right from the start, the game drops you into a world that actually makes you want to explore it at your own pace. It doesn’t hold your hand too much, which makes every discovery feel more rewarding. There were plenty of moments where I just wandered around and enjoyed the experience. The combat feels engaging and becomes even more satisfying as you get more comfortable with it. You can really feel your character progressing over time, which keeps you hooked. The atmosphere also plays a big role — it has that “just one more run” feeling that makes it hard to put down. If you’re into exploration-driven games with a strong sense of progression, this is definitely worth picking up. 👍 Recommended
