About
A kingdom is rotting from within.
After returning from a distant journey, King Grimsam falls to a mysterious illness — leaving the throne of Sephadel empty, and the realm on the brink of collapse.
Far across the Storm Sea, an unknown plague wipes out entire villages in days.
In Tinegard, travelers vanish… and those who remain are no longer the same.
You are Baldric Lamarc, a former soldier sent to attend the king’s funeral.
But something goes terribly wrong.
Now hunted, blamed, and alone, you must uncover the truth behind a spreading corruption — before it consumes everything… including you.
Explore the province of Tinegard, a land filled with decaying settlements, hidden secrets, and growing fear.
Every step forward brings you closer to answers — and deeper into danger.
Take on main and side quests that shape your journey
Earn weapons, armor, and abilities through actions, not grinding
Solve environmental puzzles that demand attention and skill
Unlock new regions as the world slowly opens before you
Engage in real-time combat against relentless enemies

Alright. Envyus is a bit of a tough rating. This is a very very old-school real-time RPG with all the jank and rough edges that come with it being that. On the other hand, the game also has undeniable charm. Just off the bat, I'll note that Steam's screenshot function is not operable with this game, and the game's designed F7 for screenshots seems to work, but I've got no idea where those screenshots wander off to. I imagine they're in some file somewhere, but nowhere I've found. So, Envyus begins with as it says in the product description. You, Baldric Lamarc, son of a noble and a warrior in your own right, have been tasked by your father with attending the funeral of the recently deceased king, who inexplicably died from a disease nobody thought existed, taking an entire town down with him. Apparently, you had a romance with the princess, which leads to a scenario where you are imprisoned and have to escape and clear your name from the crime with which you've been charged. You are helped by someone who expresses doubt as to your guilt and who also believes the king was actually assassinated. From that point forward, you attempt to clear your name, solve a crime, and since you're out and about, you will also good Samaritan your way around the country. It's nothing you haven't seen before from a story perspective, but this game handles it pretty well. And while there is definitely a bit of a disconnect between the developer's native language and the English translation, it's nothing too drastic and everybody gets their point across just fine. With that in mind, you will of course need to gear up. You find a sword and some armor pretty quickly and will get the materials needed to have someone craft a bow for you reasonably early in the adventure. This game features both real time traversal and real time combat. Combat is mostly just spamming the attack button, trying to run away to get a moment to heal, rinse and repeat. However, the bow is a far more devastating weapon, and it mows through enemies far more efficiently than your sword. Additionally, there is magic and you will earn and learn spells as you adventure, some of which being very effective combat spells. The core combat gameplay isn't too difficult really. However, this is also where that jank I mentioned really gets in the way and becomes a huge negative. You need to be facing your enemy and click on them to attack them. Except, that isn't always true. Often, despite initially facing your enemy and clicking on them, Baldric will just start attacking in random directions and basically anywhere except where the enemy is. Sword. Bow. Magic spells. It doesn't matter. For inexplicable reasons, no matter what direction you are facing and attacking, he can and will turn on his own and attack in random directions. Which is very problematic in general, and especially when you are surrounded. And you will be surrounded often or find yourself cornered due to the fact that enemies will always try to get in your face and pin you down in a spot. Even when the enemy is a spellcaster, it will always still rush you regardless. Additionally, Baldric does get stuck on objects and when that happens in combat, it will lead to unnecessary deaths. But the random aiming is the real issue and it is a huge problem in a combat-centric game such as this. And that is really a shame because outside of the random aiming and getting stuck on objects, the only other problem this game has is in the bad dialogue and logic when it comes to quest givers. "My husband is missing. Would you mind moving these barrels ten feet in this direction please?" That sort of thing. Are you sad about your husband being missing? No. But those barrels ain't gonna move themselves, lol. But really, the quests are by and large fine, and thankfully, most of them don't take too long to accomplish. There is also a fishing mini game, but the time it gives you to click everything is far too unforgiving IMO. At least two seconds should be added to it. The actual world design is pretty decent. It's mostly a limited open world with generally a couple paths going from one area to the next areas, and there is usually a bit of exploration available in each area as well. And while there are a decent number of areas, none are particularly large, and so there's never a feeling of being lost or anything. There will be trash enemies in most non-town areas, and this game does take its cue from JRPGs to some extent in how it teleports encounters in every, IDK, maybe ten seconds for trash mob critters. More powerful enemies usually only reset when you leave an area and come back. So, I'm on the top floor of the Lighthouse currently, where I got sidetracked on my way to the diseased town where all the hubbubs began. And unfortunately, the final floor boss for the Lighthouse is bugged. If I use the invisibility spell and then attack the boss, it doesn't register the boss taking any damage despite that tactic having been functional all the way up the Lighthouse to that final boss fight. And since the boss can two hit me right now as a level 15ish Baldric, that is a bit problematic. I know there is a fair amount of game left to see, but I think the attacking issues compounded by this Lighthouse boss bug have me setting the game down for now. The random direction when attacking in particular is just something I can't overlook despite the fact that I actually like this game. It is a significant enough problem in my opinion that since this is a combat-centric game, I have to give Envyus a negative rating at this time. There is a charming and fun game here, but that issue is pretty bad. I've read the previous reviews and all forum posts and while they pretty much all mention the wonky combat, there was only one post that is specific when mentioning issues with combat. The dev did respond to it about two months ago at the time of this writing (end of May 2025). Presumably he is working on improving it? I hope so. Leaving initial review, loving the story, atmosphere and old school graphics. A little rough around the edges but it definitely has it's own charm. Pretty relaxing to play so far! Will update review once I play more. Edit: finished the game now and yeah I really liked the story and the world. The dev was very responsive and fixed issues along the way. Recommend if you want a fairly chill crpg with a good story and sense of progression. Has a lot of nice puzzles and side quests. Very charming game that made me feel like a kid again. Cheers dev!
clunky old skool animations and combat for some reason I noticed youtubers playing the game for just a half hour... shockingly after almost 6 hours and counting a ive come to enjoy the game despite the flaws which to me aint worth cryong about...I like the game... Firstly the combat..aiming your mouse pointer towards the enemy is full of positives and negatives if the enemy changes spots or your outnumbered in a corner its difficult to get out of that so dont get cornered you atart with a sword and later a bow which is crafted ...defeat 8 floors of monsters to get a new sword that emits a light handy in the dark.... weapons can be upgraded and make u a beast as does a skill that replenishes your health with a short timeout...and thats when the game gets easier ....and to be honest at level 15 overpowered secondly the art style reminds me a bit like legacy of kain on PC gore monsters traps secrets caves hidden treasure its got the lot you can grow crops which takes an age but gets u cash and ends a side Quests and the Side Quests are pretty ok for an RPG the English language in the game is not perfect in fact that needs work and does the music its...not good...I turned it down and played the Flash Gordon soundtrack By Queen.... recommended ! well crafting is ok limited but its there ...monsters are varied and some are generic and theres a few cool ones too but by then I was overpowered but still itching to unlock the map by building the bridge with the aid of a carpenter...yes another Quest... so all in all a fun game and worth the money https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6Os2dh8tlg&t=1815s heres some tips.... get to the spider cave on your escape look out for a right turn with booby trap spikes theres a handy orb treasure plant vegetables as soon as you can.... and lots of them dont sell the vegetables until u meet the Monk... u need 15! upgrade weapons...its worth it... gold coins can be taken from human enemies so farm them by leaving and reentering the screen....an old trick
Estou jogando agora, estou gostando do joguinho, recomendo muito para quem gosta desse estilo de jogo, lembra bastante Diablo, Blood Omen. Tem umas coisas que poderia ser melhor.
Rpg raiz d+ recomendo
A bit janky and with some language issues, a modern old school like action rpg. The idle animations are done well and remind you of 90s rpg aesthetics. The game rewards exploring and backtracking. I think the game would have been much harder if I had not completed the quest to get natural regeneration considering that in some areas enemies respawn. You would run out of potions. Luckily leveling up heals you completely. A good game if you like old school rpgs and don't mind jank.
Que nostalgia jogar Envyus. Jogo Brasileiro e com um preço mais barato que um lanche. Recomendo! Dá pra perceber que o jogo foi feito com carinho. Não tem gráficos de ultima geração, porém é esse o charme do jogo.
Janky as hell. The writing is boring. I probably microslept somewhere, too. I'm sorry to say this, but this is just a waste of time
this game is a weird, janky mess, with charm and heart... i recommend this with the caveat of IF you can forgive some severe translation issues, and repetitive combat... there's the core of something great here, it needs a translation patch and some more work... still recommended if you like odd ball ARPGs

Pasadlo genial!! Ho recomano massa!!!! :D ********************************************************************************************* This game was granted to me through Keymailer. Thanks to them and the developers, we can enjoy this title. Please visit their site: Keymailer Please consider purchasing this game to support and enjoy it as much as I do. Have a great time!! ^^ Visit the game's page directly from their website. ********************************************************************************************* A very good game, it draws inspiration from games like Baldur's Gate and Diablo. The story is very captivating, and fortunately, it's in Spanish!! So I can follow it without any problems. I appreciate this because I don't miss anything; sometimes it's a hassle to have to use Lens to translate. It's very visually appealing, and the sounds are also subtle and well-integrated, so you can easily enjoy the evolution of the story and your character. They reward your curiosity, so I recommend taking your time, investigating thoroughly, and immersing yourself in the story. There are many characters to talk to, and some will give you quests (some are VITAL). There have been times when the background sounds have reminded me a lot of Silent Hill, because they're disturbing, with an industrial metal feel that I don't like at all. The game is easy to understand at first; I don't know if it gets more difficult as you progress. Our character levels up as they gain experience by killing mobs (unfortunately, there are spiders >,<), and you gain certain abilities that you can assign to shortcuts. Note: there are passive abilities, so read carefully because you might get confused not knowing how to assign a passive ability to a shortcut (it happened to me X,D). There was a point where I didn't know how to continue and I had to put it aside, eager to follow the story. I definitely haven't ruled out continuing further since it has me intrigued. It can easily take you several hours, especially if you die multiple times and have to rack your brain trying to figure out how to do X thing or defeat X enemy. It might not grab your attention at first, but if you like retro-style games or they remind you of a time when we could immerse ourselves in a game without worrying about anything else... you're going to enjoy it. I highly recommend it!!!! :D
