I want to find the kind of people that give this a negative review and then just ask them how important do they think they are.

EnviroGolf is not a golf game. It's a short interactive novel with a pretentious and contrived environmental message aimed at completely the wrong people and achieving nothing of the intended outcome. Gameplay consists of selecting a number of simple golfing themed choices and then observing the outcome. The outcome is always a preaching, self indulgent guilt trip telling you how much harm you caused to the environment by having the audacity to exist. I appreciate the importance of environmental protection and education, and there are good and proper ways to achieve this noble goal. None of which are represented in this self-effluent huffing pretentious holier-than-thou garbage. There's nothing constructive or educational here, simply an attempt from the developers to insult and criticise the player. The game is badly made with very low quality 2D retro pixel "art" used instead of contemporary graphics, due to lack of talent and competence from the "developer". The visual quality is unacceptably low as a result. Optimisation was never a consideration so despite burning huge amount of fossil fuels to run the game, you only get about 10 fps. The developers must be educated in basic technical concepts, apparently, one of which is that environmental outcomes rely on efficiency, a discipline they seem to have deliberately foregone, preferring more environmental harm instead of the modest amount of effort that it would have taken to optimise this oil spill of a game. The development process was not carbon offset (by any indication) and used an array of environmentally harmful computing systems manufactured with environmentally damaging materials and processes, which the developer tacitly endorses and embraces. The "developers" acknowledged nothing in their game is backed by any environmental science authority, it is instead a pure fiction. The development of this game has caused more damage to the environment than the shallow, preachy, and badly delivered message attempts to prevent.
