About
In this dying age, only pockets of humanity remain. There was no apocalyptic event to speak of; only the cruel march of time and the inexplicable infertility of the world. Accursed creatures stalk the barren lands between settlements, which are themselves terrible places; squalid, medieval and mostly ruled by tyrants.
Our story begins in the town of Draenog, where the theatre performance you are putting on is interrupted by fighting at the gates. Demons have arrived. Your wooden sword will have to do for now, gather the troupe and defend yourselves!
Entropy is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game with an expansive world map, explorable towns filled with colorful characters, and a tactical turn-based battle system.

While there are definitely some parts of the game that need some more time in the oven, Entropy is already shaping up to be an incredible game. The world is like if you force fed a medieval peasant a lethal dosage of acid, made them wander the woods for a week, and then wrote down everything they said. it's easily my favorite part of this game, and while the dialogue is well written, it's the funky setting that makes everything work. The music is quite good as well, especially the battle themes, and it all comes together to make this game feel really alien. I also ended up getting quite invested in my band of mercs, although I wish they had some more camp dialogue. As for gameplay, I think the game is pretty solid. The bulk of the gameplay is killing a bunch of randos, using that gold to hire mercs, and then leveling up these mercs. You can also give your mercs special abilities, like making them a ghostbuster or a kleptomaniac, which makes all of them feel more unique. There are also some side dungeons which offer a nice alternative to grinding on the world map. I do have a couple of gripes about combat though: 1. Targeting is practically useless outside of one random encounter. I landed 9 part hits on the endboss and got no part breaks, and regular encounters are too easy to try and use them. 2. Regular enemies are a cake walk, which makes sense because it would be annoying to lose your entire party to a random encounter, but maybe there can be a balance? I think if death was more uncommon (or maybe started uncommon but scaled with injuries) but enemies dealt more damage, general encounters would be a bit more engaging. 3. The perks that are there just aren't that interesting. Except for getting one guy to deal with ghosts, it pretty much felt like there was no reason to grab anything but "the perk" (Spellcasters grab upgraded magic, physical fighters grab more damage) All in all, the game is really quite good. The complaints listed here are quite nit picky, I honestly enjoyed every second of this game, and I'm looking forward to the full release. 9/10

I loved the demo and now that I have the full game I wasn't disappointed. Looking forward to part 2 of the story.
So good really glad I found this! Can't wait for the full release to be able to play more!
hell yeah, its cooking
Act I is solid Very cool world-building I like the limb-loss mechanics (similar to Fear & Hunger). The first act is like 3-4 hours on Hard Mode (at least that's how long it took me). There's snails, mushrooms, and gods playing tricks, oh and demons too looking forward to the 2nd act coming out when it does
Great jrpg with cool music and artstyle. Waiting for epsode 2
Gud. Wood play again
Tried the demo version out, and really liked how the game presented itself, so it was a no-hesitation purchase for me. The visuals are great, just enough to give everything a unique impression. Yet another win for solid sense of art direction. Fixed camera and such evoke a nice old school feel, and low poly 3D combined with more intricate 2D portrait splashes create a lasting impression. The game’s world feels whimsical and exciting to explore. Visuals, however, aren’t the only thing carrying the game, because combat is solid as well and meshes perfectly with the overall style, turn-based is really appreciated as it allows you to set your own pace and doesn’t overwhelm. Level design combines traversing the world map and the locations scattered around it, and man do I love seeing the character under my control shuffle around the world map... However, I really wish the soundtrack received more polish and variety, because as of now, it gets quite repetitive. With the game currently in early access, there isn’t an awful lot to do, but I have faith the developer is going to deliver, as what’s already present got me hooked. Entropy is there to satiate all your PSX era crunch crave!
