About
In this dying age, only pockets of humanity remain. There was no apocalyptic event to speak of; only the cruel march of time and the inexplicable infertility of the world. Accursed creatures stalk the barren lands between settlements, which are themselves terrible places; squalid, medieval and mostly ruled by tyrants.
Our story begins in the town of Draenog, where the theatre performance you are putting on is interrupted by fighting at the gates. Demons have arrived. Your wooden sword will have to do for now, gather the troupe and defend yourselves!
Entropy is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game with an expansive world map, explorable towns filled with colorful characters, and a tactical turn-based battle system.
Embark on a quest across the lands to stop the demonic incursion.
Control your party of up to 6 characters.
Hire Mercenaries to replace your fallen party members.
Tactical Turn-Based Combat.
Explore a world full of unique characters, creatures, challenges, and treasure.
Level up your characters, increase your stats, and unlock new perks.
A beautiful retro 3D aesthetic.

The game is unpolished for now, but there's a lot to love already, and since I enjoyed Dread Delusion I'm sure it will eventually reach a similar state as that game, at which point it will be extremely good. Beautiful art, interesting worldbuilding via quests, random events, and dialogue. I had fun with the RPG mechanics. Oh yay :D
A lovely game with a few minor bugs here and there (shocking thing for a early access game, I know) and somewhat questionable fighting mechanics. First off I want to say the writing is still bizarre yet captivating. It has that odd sense of wonder like in dread delusion. Where ''normal'' humans are just chilling and accepting there are magical mushrooms making their tech work. Or the fact there are random bloody deities that take subs to make your afterlife *not* boring (I am watering down the explanation from in-game but that's basically it really) Music is also wonderful I do like how one track tried to be extra spooky towards the end. I did like that one very much. Now, as you can all use your eyeballs. You can guess this game probably has few bugs. While I didn't find anything game breaking. There were some stuff that just kinda made me go ''not this again.'' One of the bugs I had was when travelling through open gates (one that leads you from the bat inn to the main city) It kept popping up as a dialogue option, and I had to keep confirming ''yes, I got the visa, let me pass.'' I think the guard there had dementia or something so maybe I shouldn't be as harsh. The rest of the gates *sometimes* let me pass without needing to transition to the gate itself, before going back to the map. But it was kinda dodgy which time they did it. There is also the fact the game tells you about a stealth mechanic of jabbing an enemy in the back while they are patrolling to fight them with an advantage. Thing is, the game doesn't seem to understand when an attack is a surprise one, or when the enemy is aware of you. As far as I saw it, you can goober smack a dude right in his face, and still get the advantage turn. So all and all, I didn't really have any bad time with the game! Or well, for vast majority of the game there is of course *one* moment I really didn't like and that was
giving the last boss fight a second phase. If you didn't know beforehand it was going to happen, you are most certainly going to fail unless you come up with a full squad. Or at least a lvl 3 channeler because the big ass monster has actual dodge to him, alongside crazy damage. And it feels like the devs wanted you to fail on purpose, because after you beat his first phase, he stays in his second phase. Which, ok we are immortal beings chosen by some ghost. The issue is your party members literally suffer if you fail a battle. My main dmg dealer lost a damn leg because the boss just throws you in his second phase without letting you heal, so you get butchered. Pulling such cheeky punches is alright in souls games. But if failing a battle means there is chance I lose a character I have been farming with since the start. I am going to be far less accepting with such tricks.
That little rant aside though, I still recommend this game to folks and I can't wait to see how odd this world can truly get!

all the style of a 00s JRPG with all the weirdo NPCs of a soulsborne.
(Writing during initial early access.) Absolutely amazing game so far. The world is more deep and interesting than any other RPG I can think of. Buy it to support the most underrated dev team. If the rest of the game is as strong as chapter 1, this will be an incredible game.
Jest naprawdę ciekawie! Większość PSX-siarzy odnajdzie w Entropii masę smaczków, przywołujących te mityczne, stare, dobre czasy. Dizajn jest mocny, nieco psychodeliczny, dziwny - w ten intrygujący sposób. Walka turowa? Czysta esenscja. Przynosi satysfakcję i niepewność w swej losowości. Czy fabuła wciąga? Podobnie, jak to przy każdym takim tytule sprzed lat - trzeba zagrać, poznać, wgryźć się i nie dać (albo właśnie dać), się pożreć. Szczerze polecam! 8,5+/10
enjoyed it quite a bit, looking forward to more
For the time being, Early Access covers Act 1 and I must say I do enjoy what I see. Combat is very fun though it seems to be missing some sounds and "weight" to it like firearms not making any noise. And the story is very interesting and obviously has a lot of thought going into it and likely the main appeal for many players in addition to the art style is charming and I dig the ugly mix of fantasy and body horror it somewhat has going on and you can fiddle with the options as well. I do have some issues and that's down to general game design (I presume this will change after Act 1) but there's a lack of stuff to interact with in the open world and could do with more side quests (maybe bounties too at the board where you get merc?) to give you reason to explore since otherwise it's just walking from set piece to set piece. Which also plays into the grind for gold which is pretty rough as battles only give you five gold at best and even boss battles give you 20 gold due to upkeep eating away your money. As mercs are pretty pricey while starting under level so they can get one-shot and I wish you could re-roll since you'll need another frontliner and then only get mages. But then a merc who's good with a sword and missing an arm is about the same price as a mage who has all their limbs, is a bit strange. Despite that, I think it's pretty interesting and I look forward to the finish product as I had plenty fun so far and do recommend it if you like more harsh turn-based rpgs.
I am again a child experiencing ffix for the first time. I stare at the screen, unfamiliar with concepts like narrative tropes or fantasy cliches (of which there are none), and I am in awe of the sorcery used to create this world and enchant me. its friday evening and I know true happiness.
Simple but intense turn based combat, playing on the recommended difficulty makes what should be a simple fight that much more intense, not wanting to lose any of your party members to permadeath while not knowing what to expect from the next enemy you encounter is great. I enjoyed the final fight of act 1 a lot, I went in with what I thought was more supplies than I'd ever possibly need and nearly lost a couple people. There's no save scumming so don't engage in fights lightly, I came from Dread Delusion and I enjoyed the lore and world building in that game, it seems to retain that quality in this game as well, the characters and world you're thrown head first into feels deep and complex and every character you meet has something new to teach you about the lore and events that have impacted the world. I really like the art direction they went with for the portraits of people you're talking to, and a lot of the camera work when entering a new area reminds me of Ocarina of Time. The soundtrack was also really good. I hope the next act comes soon.
I am a huge fan of turn-based RPGs with great art and story. This game checks all boxes and I could not put my controller down :) I enjoyed the choices and the dialogue. It seemed reminiscent of Planescape: Torment in that way. After looking at other reviews, the game does have a spike in difficulty, BUT I think it's a natural progression and the player can redeem themselves. The combat is easy to grasp, but also calls for some strategizing. This isn't an RPG where you can just spam attacks the entire time. Each of your mercenaries has a purpose and I got attached to mine. I enjoyed the combat and the gameplay. I'd say the game is worth every penny ! I can't wait until more is released and I absolutely loved the art direction in this game !
