Entity Researchers

It is Pokemon, Earthbound, Diablo, and Undertale all kind of rolled into one. I dig it. Weird synth sound track, groovy visuals and goofy mechanics. Just take your clobazam beforehand. Plan on playing it through and collecting everything until my disorder takes me in another direction.

An interesting mash of half-formed ideas wrapped around standard JRPG combat, with a light sprinkling of bugs. Grindy, but if you're willing to put up with that and learn all the mechanics, then it's worth a shot.

Simple and addicting game with good graphics too.

full disclosure, I refunded this game - as of level 10, this game isn't really fun because you just cast the same move repeatedly (unless your foe is weak to lightning in which case you cast the lightning move), I didn't get any additional moves even when I visited all the 2 star areas and scanned everything and a lot of the mechanics are straight up opaque, so I don't know for example what +25 affinity does and what it affects - meaning that the gearing system feels pretty :ech:. That being said, maybe it opens up more, or maybe it's just not for me. The artstyle is very good and it's really atmospheric. I did enjoy the QTEs too. I'm giving this a tentative thumbs up because who knows, you might stick it out more than I did and enjoy yourself.
