I was lured by the positives reviews but I must say i feel i got baited lol. the game mechanics are all over the pace and there is literally 0 pacing. Needs at least 1 year of development.
It's bad. Positive reviews are coping hard.

An exciting game, quite hard some times, especially if you don't read the codex, but let's be honest, who reads the manual first? Entered directly to get some bit of sword fighting like my grandpa used to, got my arse kicked many times, but the learning curve is not that steep, so props to the creator for making it an easy learning experience. The fighting mechanics seemed a bit too slow for my taste, the fact that the character remains stunned for a couple of seconds when using abilities or the sword makes it not as enjoyable. Otherwise, a great game to play on a Thursday night.

Cannot recommend. Movement and combat is janky. The dungeon doesn't change that much. The magic turrets kill the fun when there's three of them in a room and can do random damage that can one shot you. If you want an exercise in frustration and trying to find crumbs of fun-this is your game. Also, you can't quit the game. You literally have to hit the Windows key and then close out the program. That's how well developed this excuse of a game is.
any and all positive reviews are bots or people who have never seen technology before. if you feel bad about how your first game turned out, play this and instantly feel better about yourself knowing you had no hand in this abominations creation. they really just be letting anyone publish anything at this point. if you think im too hateful, please wash away any doubts you may have by spending 10 seconds or more in this game.
def needs work
I was an alpha tester in an earlier version, and I can say this game has improved significantly over time. There are now more character types, and the game becomes increasingly challenging as you progress, a fantastic update that keeps players engaged. I am excited to see how it will evolve in the future, and I am confident this developer has a bright future ahead.
Abyssborne has a great concept with a lot of potential. I really enjoy the variety of abilities and enemies, it keeps the gameplay fresh and engaging. One feature that stands out for me is the Codex. It’s a very helpful tool that provides detailed information about the world, enemies, and game mechanics. It actually makes a big difference in understanding the game better and progressing through it. That being said, there are a few things that could be improved. For example, I think using a button, like the "E" key, to interact with portals would be much better. Right now, it’s easy to enter a portal by accident, especially in certain areas. Also, the turrets feel a bit overpowered, particularly when you encounter several of them at once. Reducing their fire rate would help balance things out and make those encounters feel less frustrating. Overall, Abyssborne has a strong foundation and I'm excited to see how it evolves.
