The concept is fine and I'll even admit is kinda creative. Aside from that, this is about as scary as a flash game from 2006. Then they dropped a nice slur and I bailed. Don't waste your time.

This was previously a review that wasn't very constructive, and just kinda mean and hateful. I know that can be seriously demotivating, so here's a cleaned up version of it! /////Spoilers below, and the TL;DR is I see the intention and potential, but it has a few issues.////// So, first, the intention is beautiful. There are a few games like this, but even fewer that utilize your webcam. Changing the background is very cool, and to be fair finding the secret codes was kinda fun. I thought it was base64. was actually hexagram. Anyways, It has potential. However, I feel like a slower ramp might've been nice? Sometimes I was just laughing and having fun or raging and slamming my desk instead of gettin spooked! And that can be really fun, but after a certain point it's just kinda sad/annoying. Maybe think of incorporating easier (but just as fun!) ways of doing secret codes? Could do links to websites you've made, all that good stuff. This game was fun, in it's own weird way. I just feel like with a little more patience and maybe a step back from jumping right into the horror could really improve it! I usually am the type for these games, but I guess I just didn't really catch on to this one. Oh, well. I do hope to see the game improve, and maybe even interactions between the game and camera? like spooky figures in the back? Anyways, good luck with your development and hope to see you grow! Also I'm very sorry for the disrespectful essay last time. After cooling down, I really didnt mean it.

Where to begin, for a game that was created within 48 hours, its pretty good. I enjoyed it very much and it showed me how I can't spell under pressure lol. I haven't experienced a game that would use my webcam for these actions that I must do in order to survive the levels before. (Even though I did "cheat" by moving my webcam off the side towards the end of my second play through, it was because I wanted to get all the achievements without throwing everything out of the window!) The horror side of things, the story could be polished a little more with more levels. The story wasn't overly confusing but a little rushed towards the end. (Bear in mind dear reader, this was created for a competition, hence was created in 48h) Everything was working as it should, a little bit of a hiccup with the bell section because when it had ended, it would give a death screen when I'm a split-second premature. All n all. it was fun. Would recommend if you need to move around in your seat more and you need to find the motivation!
This was kind of cute. Super short game. Took up about half an hour and I don't regret it.. Some reviews complain about typing swear words in the final level. They must have missed part where the game says it's not for those who are easily disturbed! I don't mind it at all. You can play up to the final level without a webcam, but the last level requires one or you lose in a few seconds.
very sus typing game
genuinely one of the worst horror games i've played. i understand everyone needs to start somewhere but even just the premise is confusing. the jumpscares aren't scary and the random noises are unsettling at most. if you're looking for a fun free to play horror, this definitely isn't it
I saw this job offer on Steam and decided to give it a shot. Pros: It's a quick, easy gig, and the work is 100% remote! You're not required to use your webcam. Plus, after I finished, I think my boss said I'd be able to secure a promotion or something? Cons: The boss e-mails you a lot. He's kinda rude and yells a lot. I think he brought his kid to work or something? I keep hearing her in the background, and she keeps putting her hands on my boss's webcam! But whatever. If it gets too unbearable, I just hide from my boss or say that my phone is ringing. (My ringtone is a school bell sound). Is it the best place to work? Not really. But hey, beggars can't be choosers!
