About

You are a survivor living in the remnants of humanity. In an attempt to escape to a better life, you board the Engine Eternal, a train that has the potential to take you to Paradise. During your journey across the Old World, you and up to 3 fellow survivors will stop at several locations and disembark to search old abandoned locations to look for fuel and upgrades to keep the Engine running.

The Engine powers everything onboard the train, so managing your fuel is crucial. Beyond simply being used to travel to new destinations, excess fuel will allow you to power the fabricator, the suit repair machine, and even state-of-the-art technology that allows you to reanimate your lost teammates. If you happen across raw materials during your travels, instead of recycling them as fuel, you have the option of upgrading the Engine, granting you and your team the ability to travel to more dangerous destinations.

Abandoned reminders of humanity's existence litter the Old World. Locations such as houses or bunkers are perfect places to scavenge for leftover fuel and raw materials. But be careful, be quiet, and stay in contact with your fellow survivors at all times; you won't be the only ones there.

Really enjoyed this one, got into it with 3 other friends and we had a good time. Reminiscent of Pilgrim in gameplay and aesthetic with a sprinkling of lethal company in all the right ways. Will 100% follow for future updates. Loved the aspect of unlocking cosmetics during runs but I had to go with my favorite blue haired look. Great game! One big suggestion would be getting some of of lore book or bestiary with hints on how to deal with the enemies in the levels. We got the hang of them after a bit, but would love to see them in writing after a first confrontation or death to them. Easily worth your time and money.
Love the vibe and aesthetic of this new dungeon looter extraction survival coop horror game! The sound design is well made and helps really set the atmosphere, implemented very well overall. The monsters do take a bit of getting used to with their unique mechanics and some of them can be very very aggressive, also don't push a certain monster too much or you could "accidentally" wipe out most of your team. Looking forward to updates like more potential maps, sweet hat unlocks and dare I say monsters.
Gorgeous environments, beautiful music and a viscerally unsettling audio design combined with the fear that something far bigger, quicker and hungrier than you wants to turn you inside out make each journey an absolute joyful terror to play. If Paradise truly awaits, you'll have to fuel the engine's gluttonous boiler through Cookage's many circles of hell to get there. Just pray you have the oxygen and remaining limbs to make it.
The Dark Souls of Company-likes. I kid, except that the analogy is kinda apt. The art direction feels relatively niche/stylized, and the git gud challenge is substantial. During my first play sesh I was impressed by how quickly a good expedition can prove not-so-Eternal when one of several abominable denizens you don't yet understand decides to introduce itself. If you've tired of regular old capitalism and want to join the transhumanist billionaires in Paradise, this is your game. P.S. The devs will never admit it but I firmly believe you get a +5% to luck stat by remembering to boop the rabbit before every pulling away from the station.
Stare at buttons for all eternity so your friends can escape: check Get left behind because you heard "lets head out" as "lets go loot" when they really meant "we're leaving the station": check Uwu dance between stops: check 10/10 would recommend this fun game horror coop game to my friends. Note: fine print is disrupting my achievement hunting, devs plz fix :)
Solid early early access release. Runs well, looks great, and has lots of great features already which you would expect from this genre. It is especially fun to burn items like magnifying glasses and VHS tapes as engine fuel. Don't miss this one!
A scramble for resources to keep the train running through atmospheric and unsettling environments. The matter-of-factness with which the monsters appear, paired with the stress of avoiding obstacles and keeping track of your way out makes for a nerve wrecking experience. Best played with friends!
very fun game i love the music, and i especially like the part where my friend left me to death by mosquito sting in the butt
A unique but welcome twist on the Co-op Horror genre. It is quite difficult but worth your time, especially with a group of friends, and even more so as the developers continue to add more content and flesh out the groundwork that they've created.
