A highway gothic horror. Your bus was late and now you can't catch your next bus home. You'll need to walk the next couple of miles... alone... at night.

Maybe I'm just filtered, I don't know, but it's just not very good. It's a walking simulator with jump scares. From what I gather, you have to keep answering surveys on your phone to stay alive (?), but cars will randomly swerve to kill you. Sometimes, if you look slightly to the sides, a monster will kill you from behind. I have no idea what triggers either of these events, but they are very hard to avoid, to the point where it feels like the game arbitrarily triggers them just to make you die and reset you. When you die, you get reset back to the start (or the halfway point, if you have the patience to go that far). Then you get to hold W and SHIFT for another 15 minutes and pray you don't get randomly killed again, while doing literally nothing.
I mean I liked it, but the phone seemed kinda busted. I couldn't turn the sound of the phone game off without going to the main menu and restarting. also I entered the correct user name and password on the phone and it just constantly tried to open 2 pages simultaneously and just looped and broke the phone. also I kept having my guy get turned around by the thing and I got sent back to the bus a lot, not sure why, I was on the sidewalk the whole time, sometimes in the middle of the street when I got got. edit: replayed it again, uh made it to the halfway point, but now I'm just dying randomly after walking a certain distance past the freeway. I dont understand lol. game might just be busted
Love the game!! keep up the great work!
This is one of the single best games I've ever played. It's super simple, but it tells an amazing story with such minimalist ways. This game is calming on such an odd way, and I'm 100% going to play this game when I'm on verge of mental breakdowns and panic attacks. Easily one of my new favourite games. I found this originally from The Librarian's playthrough. My only problem was when I reached home, I had to pull up the ending of Librarian's playthrough and use the light-posts as landmarks since it was pitch black when I reached the end, which I presume is from having negative score. It would be amazing if you could maybe make it so the negative effects from answering right/wrong is alleviated once the GPS says "You have reached your destination.
I gave it about an hour, and I got to the half-way point. I thought the concept of taking a late night walk home while spooky things happen sounded interesting. However, I can't recommend this game. The deaths, either from swerving cars or the monsters from the woods always felt cheap. I never really felt that I had a good way to avoid them. Of course, you always start back at the bus in some random location, so I never got a sense that I had made any progress. After you die a few times, the street lights turn red, which made me wonder if this was one of those PT clones. If that was the idea, then I quit before getting further into that. Even before I made it to the halfway point, the game was starting to feel like a chore to play. I finally got sick of it not too long after that. Maybe this concept could have worked, but with all the cheap deaths and lack of any feeling of progress, it lost any charm it had over the course of that hour. I can't recommend this.
A walking simulator that loses it's charm after an hour of play. Not much else to say.
We have to walk the rest of the way home while tryin' to keep our auto score up via questionable surveys. The gameplay is simple enough and I didn't encounter many bugs besides not bein' able to start a walk after [redacted] happens. Interestin' concept. Gameplay here: https://youtu.be/fUIK8GQsKyE
Bello ja
I live streamed this game to my friends in a vc and it was a fun time, trying to beat this while multitasking the phone and walking was fun too. Best concept for such a cheap game if there was more to do i would replay, and would play another title if you release another related to this concept!. only ONE downside is that i saw one bug and it was the giant creatures getting stuck on a turn area. but it fixed itself by spawning in a different spot. I also ran into a funny encounter, i was on the phone, the creature behind me was there, then a car came towards me, causing me to get hit by the car AND get jump scared. 10/10
this game is just unplayable after a while you are in a dark screen and nothing visible don't loose your money
