Hordes rush like a Black Friday sale, every enemy looks like the last one, the game exhausts faster than an endless stream.
Don't misunderstand; this game isn't good. It feels like a port of a mobile game, and according to other reviews it very well might be. There's no tutorial, the UI is unintuitive, and some of the buttons will just stop working occasionally. The game does provide trading cards, but it's not enough to make it worth it. However, I'll give it this; the spritework is decent, the music is nice and doesn't get grating (at least in the amount of time played), and the 3d models are almost charming in how ugly they are. All in all, 2/10, don't play this unless it's super discounted/free, because it just isn't worth it at the current price.
Game won't even finish after all the scientists are dead since 1 zombie does not spawn

🔫 Got a gun? Got nerves? Good. You’ll need both. Horde-tastic chaos!
Endless Horde is a zombie-themed tower defense game that focuses on survival through smart planning rather than flashy spectacle. Developed and published by Ominous Entertainment, the game places players in charge of defending a research facility that has become the target of an overwhelming undead invasion. Instead of presenting an elaborate storyline, it immediately throws players into a desperate battle where every decision influences how long the facility can remain standing. The straightforward premise works well because it keeps the attention firmly on strategic gameplay while maintaining an atmosphere of constant tension. One of the game's defining mechanics is its unpredictable enemy behavior. Unlike many traditional tower defense games that rely on fixed routes, Endless Horde changes the locations where zombies appear with each incoming wave. This forces players to continuously adapt instead of memorizing optimal layouts. Defensive positions that were highly effective one round may become exposed the next, encouraging constant experimentation and tactical flexibility. This simple but effective design choice significantly improves replayability and keeps matches engaging even after multiple sessions. Building an effective defense requires careful use of both personnel and environmental hazards. Armed guards form the backbone of the player's resistance, while a variety of traps help slow, damage, or eliminate the advancing hordes before they breach critical areas. Explosives, fire-based defenses, and freezing traps all serve different purposes, allowing players to create layered strategies that balance offense and crowd control. Success depends on placing units where they can support one another while anticipating the constantly changing flow of enemies. The strategic depth comes not from overly complicated mechanics but from learning how each defensive tool works together under increasing pressure. As players survive longer and defeat more enemies, additional units and upgrades gradually become available. This progression system rewards persistence by expanding the number of tactical options available in future attempts. Rather than overwhelming newcomers with dozens of mechanics from the start, Endless Horde introduces stronger defensive possibilities over time, giving players a satisfying sense of advancement. Every successful run contributes toward unlocking better equipment, encouraging repeated play and helping each new attempt feel slightly different from the last. The endless survival format naturally complements competitive features such as online leaderboards and Steam achievements. Players are motivated not only to survive but also to improve their efficiency, optimize their defensive layouts, and push for higher wave counts than previous attempts. Because enemy spawn points remain unpredictable, high scores depend more on strategic thinking and quick adaptation than simply following a predetermined strategy. This creates a rewarding gameplay loop for players who enjoy refining their techniques and competing for longer survival times. Visually, Endless Horde adopts a practical presentation that emphasizes gameplay clarity over graphical complexity. Character models, environments, and special effects are functional, making it easy to monitor the battlefield even as large groups of zombies begin overwhelming the map. Sound effects complement the action with satisfying weapon fire and appropriately unsettling zombie noises that reinforce the game's survival atmosphere. While the production values remain modest compared to larger-budget strategy games, the presentation succeeds in supporting the core gameplay without unnecessary distractions. Accessibility is another strength. The controls are easy to understand, matches begin quickly, and the objectives remain clear throughout every session. Players unfamiliar with tower defense games can quickly learn the fundamentals, while genre veterans will appreciate the increasing challenge presented by randomized waves and escalating enemy numbers. The relatively low system requirements also make it accessible to players using older hardware, broadening its appeal. The game is not without shortcomings. Those looking for a lengthy campaign, rich storytelling, diverse maps, or extensive content variety may eventually find the experience repetitive. Since the gameplay revolves around surviving increasingly difficult waves, long-term enjoyment depends largely on whether players appreciate improving strategies, unlocking upgrades, and chasing higher scores. While additional modes or greater environmental variety could have extended its longevity, the existing gameplay loop remains enjoyable within its intended scope. Overall, Endless Horde succeeds as an entertaining survival-focused tower defense game that prioritizes adaptability over routine. Its randomized enemy spawns, satisfying defensive mechanics, and rewarding progression system create an experience that remains engaging through repeated play sessions. Although its presentation and content are relatively modest, the game's strategic depth and replay value make it an enjoyable choice for fans of tower defense and zombie survival games looking for a challenging arcade-style experience.
