About

End of Lines is an interactive graphic novel, set in the near future. Following a climate-induced apocalypse, a group of survivors centered around a small family wanders in the devastated countryside of Southern Europe, looking for a livable place to settle.
The sky is red. Or is it?
The air’s so hot it feels red.
When did it stop being blue?
A battered old paper with words I can’t read
and lines that fade and melt across the tears and folds.
Lines that guide us towards hope.
The hope of a welcoming land.
And yet, we don’t know what we’ll find beyond the map.
Where the lines end.

Each choice matters: manage the supplies and the morale of your group in a ruthless environment where death may be encountered at any time.
A poignant vision of what may lie ahead: the story is set at the end of the 21st century, in a world where nothing has been done to counteract climate change.
A family unit at the core: follow Camille, Nora, their son Sam, the lively “Uncle” Rafik and the diverse cast of characters they befriend on the trail.
A beautifully illustrated storybook: with each playthrough, experience a novel-sized adventure and a portion of the hundreds of hand-painted illustrations created for the game.
An immersive and finely-crafted soundtrack.

Reviews
This game is so good. It's the post apocalypse, and you and your family are on a journey to find some sort of oasis to survive. Your family however, has some advantages. Your character is intelligent, your wife is a fearless leader and your child can see dead people. This is a harsh game and I had to stop at times because this almost feels like a horror game. This is a reality of what our children's lives could be if climate change continues, and that is truly terrifying. It is REALLY really good though.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I found this to be a very thoughtful view of a future wrecked by climate change. It kept me interested the whole time, good pacing, always something going on. I have only done one play through so far but there is a summary page at the end that shows what achievements you unlocked and it looks like there is much more to discover. I tried reloading at some choices but got the same outcome, so it seems like the choices you make throughout the game accumulate, which is neat. The writing is pretty good, didn't notice any spelling or grammar mistakes. Learned a couple new words. The story has some real emotional weight to it and is an interesting take on climate change. Decent length as well, not too short but doesn't drag on either. The art style is very nice to look at in my opinion. Also, this game covers a culture and location that isn't often seen in games (Sahara/Spain), which gives it some uniqueness. Anyway I liked it, probably come back to it later and see if I can get a different ending.
Beautifully written (although with a few typos, extra words, and some 'interesting' choices of words), Awesome art and music. The story got me hooked from beginning to end.
Another fantastic game from Nova-Box. As always the art is beautiful, the sound design is great. I've seen some complaints that its got a political agenda, and this is true, but i have no issue with that. Nova-Box makes some of the best interactive graphic novels around, and it's really worth the time/money if your into these sort of games.
Wonderful writing. Game is not too long. Doesn't drag. I don't usually play interactive narratives twice but I can imagine doing so for this one.
Nova-Box has made yet another amazing story game.
A somber journey through a ruined world. Novabox does a great job establishing a compelling romance. Their journey of survival is tense and exhilarating. Great work as always.
