Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
EMPULSE is a fast-paced 6v6 movement shooter where movement is the weapon. Outmove and outgun your opponents across the post-utopian streets of Freehold, chain wall-runs into grapple swings into mid-air kills, and fight for Crews to control mechs for the ultimate power spike.
Movement is the foundation on EMPULSE. Every district in Freehold is built for chaining movement together and finding your flowstate. Here’s a look at the toolkit:
Wall-running: Run forwards and backwards, chain almost any mechanic into a wall-run, and ride virtually every vertical surface on the map.
Grapple hook: Build momentum, swing around cover, whip into a wall-run faster than you could on foot, or hook an enemy to reel them in for a one-hit melee.
Holojumps and jetpacks: launch off boost pads to keep the movement chain alive.
P.A.I.N.T. Bombs: Reshape any surface with Jump, Speed, Explosive, Heal, and Sticky P.A.I.N.T. Bombs to gain the advantage in fights.
Grapple into a wall-run, swing into a Holojump, slide into Speed P.A.I.N.T. In EMPULSE, every move flows into the next
Mechs are the most contested objective in a match. They act as a power spike that spawns mid-round and forces your team to fight for control. Two of them spawn at the center of the map at a time, and whoever claims one is piloting a machine built to take over a round. A claimed mech comes loaded with a full kit:
Chaingun that ramps up the longer you hold the trigger
Rockets that delete anyone caught in sight
Melee that hits enemies for heavy damage and knocks them back
Deployable bubble shield to lock down a position or act as cover
Charge jump that launches the mech high into the sky, then slams down with a shockwave, crushing anyone caught underneath on impact
Dash to reposition with surprising speed, especially for something so massive
Sums Steam only; PlayStation publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Do I recommend trying it? Absolutely. Just know you'll see the same folks frequently. Most lobbies I've been in have pre made teams, and those performing as a team will absolutely drop a steamer on your chest and use your schnaaz to wipe. Before I state my issues, I genuinely appreciate what these guys are tryna do with this title. It's honestly a lot of fun. I truly enjoy playing it and I hadn't felt my gamin-willy tickled like this since The Finals dropped. My only issue with it is that I can hardly get anyone I know to pick it up. Because of that, I hadn't picked it up in a week or so.. They are obviously very capable developers. This review not meant as a jab. Unfortunately upon my return, the average skill level rose exponentially. It's hard for me to want to continue because of this, especially knowing it's an early release title with an already shrinking player base. I fear this one will also go the way of SG2. Until 1047 is able to capably create a balance between engagement, retention, skill floor/ceiling, marketing discoverability, awareness, etc., and until they determine their actual audience, these titles will continue to die out 1-3 months after release, "early" or otherwise. SG and SG2 were COD/HALO/PORTAL knock-offs. EMPULSE is a Great Value Titanfall. I sincerely hope 1047 has learned to take constructive criticism since their poor attempt to ride off of shock value. I wish to see a day when the face of the company doesn't have to put other companies and titles down in order to attempt to artificially elevate themselves. I genuinely hope we see these guys link up with a serious publisher that can provide the guidance and funds needed for consistent success. All the best
I honestly don’t know what to say. I have been supportive of 1047 since Splitgate 1 dropped in beta. Splitgate 1 was amazing for me and I still talk about how awesome it was to this day, but then Splitgate 2 came out and I was disappointed, but I stayed. I tried to be supportive of the studio once again because I thought that things would get better once they moved the game into beta, but nothing changed. Then Empulse released. It looked different, it felt different, I can say it was an awesome game to be able to experience, but then today is was just announced that they are essentially rug pulling both current active games with no option of a refund. I am done with 1047. I had hope, but now I’m unbelievably disappointed and dissatisfied with this studio. If you ever see 1047 release a game in the future or look to try this game, just save your money and time and go find a different game cause there is no hope in Empulse. Sending it to a peer to peer service without even making it free shows how disgusting and untrustworthy this studio is. Be better 1047.
Разрабы спустя 2 месяца выхода в раннем доступе перестаю разработку игры. Не покупайте
Just no way.
The devs charged for the game and then shut down development very quickly. Absolute rip-off.
Really enjoying this game. It's a fun take on the FPS genre and I like what they have done with it so far. Fast paced shooter with wall-running, sliding, booster jumping, and mech piloting. Guns level up individually and have fun camos. You can try your hand at random reward boxes, bought with points you earn through challenges. I'm happy with the game for the price I bought it at and would recommend it to others.
Игра неплохо играется, уже сейчас много интересных режимов. Правда, баланс на данный момент хромает - есть оружие с буквальным автоаимом, и отдача совершенно не ощущается. Буду надеяться, что проблемы исправят к релизу
