About
A short, single-sitting VHS horror experience.
In Empty Gauge, you spend three unsettling days moving between a remote gas station and your home.
By day, you work the night shift alone. By night, strange clues begin to pile up, nightmares grow more vivid, and reality starts to feel less reliable.
What begins as an ordinary part-time job slowly turns into something far more disturbing.
Take care of routine gas station duties while the night drags on.
Run the register
Restock shelves and clean the store
Refuel customers and finish your shift
After work, head back home and investigate the strange signs left behind.
Each discovery reveals a little more about what is happening — and what may be waiting for you.
As the days pass, the line between your job, your home, and your dreams begins to collapse.
Unsettling encounters, sudden danger, and disturbing visions push the story toward its end.
Your choices and the clues you uncover will determine how the story ends.

That's a very nice PS1 style horror game that uses all the free assets that might be familiar if you often play this kind of indie games. I personally find it fascinating to go back to the same locations I have previously seen and experience a different thrilling story. There are multiple endings that completely change the events. I advice exploring every new location/room that the game lets you in to avoid playing the whole thing again. If you want to get all the endings of course. The overall gameplay is smooth, the controls are good and you can calibrate such stuff as VHS effects, mouse sensitivity, head bobbing, etc., which is not common for indie horror games. The potential is great and I'll be glad to see another one from this developer for sure, they definitely cooked.

짧지만 엔딩도 3가지이고 점프 스퀘어도 있어서 재밌게 즐길 수 있었습니다. 재밌게 플레이 했습니다~
Excellent little horror game. Some thrills. Some spills. Creepy at times and the different endings and how they play totally different is cool. Short but sweet.
I enjoyed playing this game. The jumpscares was scary and it always got me but the one thing I like is the story. It was quiet intriguing and I did try to get other endings however I only got Ending A and B. I think I have to start the game from Day 1 again to find all the clues.
Legendary game. Loved it, finally, a good horror game where there's no 10000 hours of boring conversations. Stalking, jumpscares, flickering lights, straight to the point. Amazing. Keep doing it like this brother. Also, loved the story, simple, weird and happy at the end. 10/10 indie horror.
Jogo muito bom, fiz todos os finais, plot digno de cinema, parabens ao Dev por colocar em PT-BR, jogarei todos os jogos futuros!
https://youtu.be/xYVGlp-BTow Today! We found the corpse of "Empty Gauge" Flesh (Visuals): Its got that PSX style, which I enjoy, had a VHS filter on it, looked pretty good and wasn't super noticeable. Dismemberment (Difficulty): Not difficult at all, walking simulator, some searching for basic tasks, some chases, overall pretty easy Infestation (Bugs): Did not notice any bugs, besides this one :cockroach: Corpse Integrity (Story): Your a dude, life kinda sucks, manager is weird, working 3rd shift, but life is not as it appears as we find out more about our character, I enjoyed it, got the extra endings besides I believe the hidden ending involving finding all the clues (not spoiler... there is a tip on the menu screen) but the endings had a pretty interest twist to them, keept me engaged and interested to where I wanted to see the other endings. Something Off About It? (Ambience): As the game progresses, we can tell things are off about our character and the situation going on with their life and job, some parts gave me some chills, had some good scares and a few panics How Long To Dismember (Playtime): Took me, with finding two endings, about 40 minutes to play through Value Of Meat (Price): Right now, it is $2.99 on steam, I think its a fair price. Post Mortem Thoughts: Empty Gauge: Walked in with some guesses about the situation, enjoyed the ending twists, give me chills, spooked me some, its never "ketchup" , overall, was a good time, I have a love for these "convenience store" horror game and this one was a good one!

I really enjoyed this, got me a good few times with the scares, but nothing that was overdone. I love that there are multiple endings, of course I had to discover all of them. My community really enjoyed it as well. Looking forward to see what else they will come out with! in case you want some gameplay: https://youtu.be/3fEnpM-nbXg?si=UG3C3cFGE9uw8Q0b
