great expansion over the previous titles, much more in depth with how you interact with the story and characters and it has more elements to make you feel more immersed, these games always make me wish they lasted longer but alas, I also feel like this entry like previous ones kind of dont make use of all the characters in the story? you're mostly talking to a very few select people and that too not as much with some characters plainly disappearing from the story altogether, certainly something that needs expanding upon as well as the impact of choices and different pathways shouldve had a lot more impact on the game than they did
I really hate how the game forced me to have a bad ending in the first playthough it left a very sour taste and that my choices didnt really matter at all in this playthough, Im not someone that replays games a lot personally but being FORCED to have a certain ending made me very very upset with how I spent my time thinking about decisions to make in this playthrough all to be fed an ending? It was done seamlessly so you dont notice kudos on that but the whole idea of that happening is seriously wrong in my opinion, I'll be returning in a few months cause I dont want to tediously replay everything now again until I forget a little about the story to replay it fresh again, kind of broke my trust lol
Im really hoping to see a new title from Kyle ASAP with massive improvements and that realistic feel and writing that I've felt throughout this trilogy so far :) WELL DONEEEE
I have some gripes but i cant stress enough that I've loved the Emily is away series and this one in my opinion is extremely good, possibly the best just With how much new stuff you can actually do in it. that said, the issue I have with it might spoil something for you so read at your own risk.
The first time you play the game you are GOING to get the bad ending with whatever girl you choose. its predetermined and unavoidable. I picked Evelyn of course, as she's my favorite from the series. I played the story to completion and spent hours trying to figure out what I did wrong just to find out online that its just how the game works. I found out that in order to get a good ending you need to get the bad ending for the other girl already. there's no way id want to not only go though Emily's storyline and then redo the one I've already done just to get the good ending. overall fantastic game, its just that one issue for me.
Will absolutely be playing this again, what do you mean there are NINE branching endings?!
I got to relive my childhood/teenagerhood😍

This game tuff af
Gra jest nawet śmieszna i ma niezły vibe ale polecam ją zagrać tylko dwa razy bo później robi się po prostu monotonna ( ps. pieprz się Evelyn , Emily for life)
RAD If the first playthrough is, say, translated to an actual relationship in real life, the takeaway would be that it is a massive no! if your significant other... 1) flirts with someone else, 2) instead of acknowledging your feelings, they deflected instead and say how doing so actually helps the other person's mental health, 3) bring it up way later to accuse you of being controlling because you are uncomfortable about the whole thing and saying that their odd relationship with the said other person is a "if they like me, so what! u don't trust me :<", pretty much nullifying them declining that there's something there before. I really do believe that people forgot having a backbone doesn't only works for someone that hates you and trample your dignity, it is also applicable for relationships you want to keep. Knowing when to stand your ground is as much important as knowing when to fall back. The "yes, ma'am" relationships is and should never be an ideal structure for a decent relationship despite being a prevalent rhetoric. Love comes with accountability, mutual understanding and trust that what it is that you feelings will be heard by your significant other without the intent of being misconstrued for rebuttal. At the end, it's very important to know who you get in relationship with in a level beyond just what they show you and, of course, also to know who you really are under everything. This becomes more and more of a necessity in this era where internet and internet personas are where and who people talks to most of the time. It is so easy to be lost in something you are devoted to...
