About
Elvenfoundry is a VR factory simulation game with explicit sexual content, that focuses on physics and realistic character interactions.
Build and optimize a factory, automate and unlock tools to play and experiment with your favorite elves, and maybe even some company workers.
Make sure to show your elves how we work in this factory. They will be glad to assist you in many ways to achieve maximal production rates.
Give them showers, take them to the pool. Maybe a good workout at the gym, or some other kind of training in the dungeon. Have fun with your elves in many ways.

Don't buy the game if you don't have VR. The store page says "The game runs in both standard and VR modes", but that's not entirely true. On starting the game, I get a "VR Calibration" screen, and it took me entirely too long to figure out how to interact with it using a mouse/keyboard/controller. It's not intuitive or convenient to figure out, and this is pervasive throughout the entire experience of the game in desktop mode. Interactions leave you guessing whether you need to press left mouse, right mouse, or F, all while aiming at a specific part of the thing you want to interact with. Worst of all, you are required to move a VR hand in 3D space with clunky controls (holding Q on keyboard while moving the mouse and scrollwheel) to pick up an object and move it into a different position... just to accept a quest. And you have to repeat it for every quest you accept. Why? For VR immersion, I guess. But in desktop mode, things like this are just a hassle. Also unlike in VR, desktop mode has no controls for moving your viewpoint/perspective even when the game seems built around that ability. Your first-person view of sex can get blocked by the playermodel's big man-tits, and without VR, you can't lean forward to see past them. Personally, I found the factory gameplay somewhat tedious too. You can only move a few items per second to/from your inventory. Not bad for the very start, but when the 5th quest needs 70 items and it takes a full 30 seconds of holding right-click to get the items from the machine crafting them and 30 more seconds to put them in the quest box, it's not fun. And this was just my experience from an hour in. I can't imagine what the late-game grind is like. TLDR: This isn't a normal game with optional VR. This is a VR game with the bare-minimum accessibility requirements to be "playable" without it. Perhaps people with VR will like it, but I did not find the desktop experience enjoyable.
This has potential but is missing for basic, and I mean BASIC features. Firstly, no seated mode. Who wants to play any game, let alone this kind of game permanently standing up? This is a super basic feature for a VR game and it's absence sorely felt very quickly when compounded with the next two issues Second, Body proportion. I'm average height, but after calibration my hips are at the VR body's navel and the VR body's hips are at my knees and the character has stubby little dwarf legs. Like, WHAT?!?!? How, how in an adult game do you mess up knowing where the hips are on a human being?!? And worse, there is no way to change or adjust this anywhere in the menus. Third, why on earth do i have to look BEHIND ME when I open the main menu? Who thought it was a bright idea to put the menu behind me then disable joystick turning forcing me to turn in circles and get the charging cord tangled around my legs? This is an injury waiting to happen. And finally, the controls, nothing is explained well, there is no controls page or anywhere to tell you what button does what other then blindly push buttons till something happens. Like how basic is a simple page listing the controls? For all these reasons I refunded the game and warn anyone thinking about trying it, this is some dumb nonsense.
As mentioned in other reviews, do NOT buy this game if you don't have VR. Desktop mode "works" but it's very painful. Graphics? They're alright, but there seems to be a lot of clipping. (speaking from desktop mode) Gameplay is going through a portal and building a very simplified version of a factory, but the map size? You can see the whole thing right when you jump in. It's literally a crater on a planet or something... Don't expect anything to explore or any good scenery. The building itself with the bedrooms and whatnot is also not something to explore, it's an elevator with buttons that sends you to different small rooms. I understand this is either a solo dev or very small team but $30 for this amount of content is just absolutely a scam.
The game has no clear instructions, you are left guessing what you're suppose to be doing.
Do you like low-complexity factory games and, coincidentally, also love shagging elves? This is the game for you! Do keep in mind that this was developed VR-first; the non-VR controls are slightly janky but you'll quickly get used to it. The only criticism I have is that the customizations and interactions are a bit limited.

I played the Patreon version some months ago and I'm now revisiting it with the Steam release. Most of my review is from play time i've had while it has been developing, for instance, I see in the video the bath now has a scene. So keep in mind I may be behind on a few features. Though I'd say I have roughly 6h play time. Steam key was technically provided to me for 'free' because of being a patreon for a while. Though I've more than paid the games store value. It's a unique concept that takes a little learning at the beginning but has a gratifying loop of work and "play" made by a solo dev. The interactivity in the 'play' portion is quite high, multiple locations and scenes with different objects to interact with. Make no mistake, this is a VR game. This looks to have been an area of contention, but If you don't have VR, don't buy it. To quote the first line of the description "Elvenfoundry is a VR factory simulation game" It does have some desktop support, however, this is primarily for those of us that prefer to do the factory side of things without VR. For reasons such as motion sickness. It is not intended for the adult scenes. Everything in this game was designed for VR. Some desktop support was later added. When I played the early version some months ago it didn't have many voices, just moans and such. I see now that's implemented and already even just in the factory side of the game a welcome touch. Handing in 'quests' just got more interesting even if there's no play there and then. I hope there are some voices in the play scenes, I guess i'll find out soon. If there aren't it's something I would suggest adding. The core gameplay is essentially you get to work gathering and crafting a small amount of materials for a colony, then build some machines for automation, completing a few objectives. Occasionally you unlock a new scene or a new room for 'play' as a reward for your work. You can either keep working and unlock more things, or go for a break and visit the scenes. The controls do take a little getting used to, but they do make sense once you've figured it out. For those with motion sickness in VR I do recommend using desktop for the factory side of things, especially in the early game where you will be running around gathering blobs. You wont need to do that later on and will be doing a lot less movement. From what I saw before, you can somewhat customise the elves in the play side of things, though this is limited, things like changing hair colour, but they're more or less the same person each time. But I have to clarify I haven't got that far yet in the steam version, so it could be different now to how I remember. I hope it does well and more content gets added further down the line
Good potential. However... this game in its present state is totally frustrating because of the trial-and-error approach to the apparent configurations. NO clear instructions or hints. After a few hours of trying combinations for the "factory", I have given up and am waiting hopefully for an update. My suggestion: DO NOT PURCHASE until the many issues in the discussions are fixed. Until then, it's a thumbs down... sorry, would be a fun game otherwise.
