About

There's never been a more truer war fought than war of faith, for if people will not fight for what they believe in, what else is there to fight for?
You've seen it, and you've been there. Once a devoted man fighting for what he believed in, seen and believed a hero... for all the wrong reasons.
But if you've had a chance to do it again, would you do it the same?
Follow the story of Eliot Magnus (first name changeable), once a devoted man of faith and a Paladin of his god, deemed a hero. Yet a hero can be turned into a villain, for all the right reasons when he fought for all the wrong reasons before.
"It was you. You started it all. You raised me, molded me in your image. And when I saw the truth, you cast me aside—no, you did worse. You kept taking. My faith, my brothers, my world. You created me, and for that— I bless you. You make sense of the devil."

"It is not the world that is flawed, but those who inhabit it. Your ambitions, your insatiable greed, your lust for power—these petty desires have poisoned your hearts. You are weak, lacking the strength of control, discipline, and a true will. For centuries, I have stood in silence as you defiled these lands with your selfish pursuits. But no longer. If this world must end in fire, then you will burn with it, for I am the law, the judge, and the executioner of this realm."

This isn’t your typical "click-through for the next spicy scene" kind of AVN—this one is all about storytelling, character depth, and making choices that (eventually) impact the world. But is it worth diving into for the story alone? Or does it drag too much for its own good? Well, let’s break it down.
About This Game

Storyline
So, right off the bat, Elleria sets up a pretty serious and morally grey narrative. You play as Eliot Magnus (though you can rename him), a former Paladin of faith who was once hailed as a hero—until he realized he was fighting for all the wrong reasons. Now, he’s on a path of revenge, redemption, or maybe something in between. The story is all about power, control, and how belief can shape (or shatter) a person. And I have to say, the writing is really solid. It doesn’t feel like the typical "excuse plot" a lot of AVNs use to string together adult scenes. It’s deep, well thought-out, and genuinely engaging—if you’re into heavy narratives. The game also sprinkles in some interesting lore via the Codex system, which lets you learn more about the world, its characters, and its history.
Gameplay Mechanics
This is where Elleria is a bit of a mixed bag. There are some gameplay mechanics beyond just clicking through text. The "War Table" system is probably the most intriguing, letting you make decisions that influence the world in various ways. That said, in the early chapters, the game is very much a kinetic novel—you’re mostly just reading, with few real choices. Another thing to note: if you’re looking for a more interactive AVN with lots of branching paths and replayability, this might not be the game for you. From what I’ve seen, there’s really just one major story path to follow, which some people will love (because no need for multiple playthroughs) while others might find restrictive.
Pros

Engaging Storyline: If you love deep, well-written narratives, this one delivers. Themes of faith, morality, and power make for an interesting ride.
Amazing Renders: The visual quality is top-notch, and characters look fantastic.
Good Character Development: Small cast means more focus on each individual, and their motivations feel well thought out.
Custom Music & Sound Effects: Adds an extra layer of immersion.
No Forced Replay for Different Endings: A single, strong storyline means you don’t have to replay multiple times just to see everything.

Cons

Very Linear (Especially Early On): The first chapters barely give you any real choices, which might frustrate players who prefer more control.
Slow Pacing: If you’re not a fan of long stretches of dialogue-heavy storytelling, you might find yourself zoning out.
Not a "Sex-First" AVN: If you're a gooner who is here strictly for the adult content, you'll be waiting a while. There are scenes, but they’re pretty few and far between compared to other AVNs.
Some Minor Dialogue Errors: Nothing game-breaking, but there are occasional typos and awkward sentences.

Conclusion
So, do I recommend this game? Yes… but with conditions. If you’re someone who loves deep, immersive storytelling and doesn’t mind a slow-burn experience, this is a great pick. The world is well-crafted, the characters are interesting, and the visuals are some of the best I’ve seen in an AVN. However, if you’re expecting a choice-heavy, super interactive experience with tons of adult content sprinkled throughout? You might want to temper those expectations. This is first and foremost a story-driven AVN, and that means long stretches of dialogue before you get to the "action" (both in terms of story decisions and adult scenes). For me, I enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for Book 2. But I can also see why it wouldn’t be for everyone. If you ever find yourself in the mood for a rich, well-written fantasy epic—with some spicy moments along the way—then Elleria is absolutely worth checking out. Rating: 9/10 Tbh, I don’t see the appeal in 3D Renders of women… For full review head over to our website
I don't mind AVNs being heavily story based, but this AVN misses out on some key areas to put in some juicy adult content to enchance the story. With that said, the story at first caught my attention, but as it just drags on and becomes tedious and boring. I am done with this story, no further DLC for me. If you are looking for some good AVNs on Steam, I recommend: Acting Lessons, City of Broken Dreamers, Depraved Awakenings; Leap of Faith; & Sisterly Lust.
✨ELLERIA - BOOK 1✨
!!!MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS!!!
STORY
🔸 This novel is set in a fantasy world. Our protagonist, Eliot Magnus (first name can be changed, but not the last one), has lost his faith (he was once a paladin). Now he wanders the world, trying to right the wrongs of his past and find a new meaning in life. Along the way, he'll meet many new characters, not all of whom will be his friends. Immerse yourself in this world full of the supernatural, magic, and, of course, love stories that are sure to captivate you.
GAMEPLAY
🔸 A visual novel with dialogue choices. Each decision influences certain future events, but not as much as in similar games. Unfortunately, some decisions will only change dialogues, but will not affect the global events and plot of the game. The war table system improves the situation a bit, but it only appears after some time. Also, during the gameplay, two buttons are available in the menu: characters and codex, where you can read additional information. So if you're used to influencing every event in the game and replaying the game for different endings, that's not the case here at the moment. Perhaps these branching paths will appear in the second book. 🔸 REPLAYABILITY - Just for the sake of exploring all the dialogue options with the characters. Otherwise, there is no need to replay the game.
VISUAL
🔸 ART - The quality of the characters and background textures varies greatly. The characters look very impressive and detailed, each unique in their own way. The female characters are attractive, regardless of race. The male characters and various creatures are also good, reminiscent of many beloved fantasy books and films. The background images look a bit dated and somewhat reminiscent of old RPG games. On the one hand, it's even nice and nostalgic, but on the other hand, the characters don't fit with this background. 🔸 ANIMATIONS - The game does not contain any animations, but has some visual effects in a few scenes.
ADULT CONTENT
🔸 The game focuses primarily on the storyline rather than adult content, so there aren't many scenes of that nature. After completing each part of a chapter, an additional image will unlock in the gallery. The scenes are pretty standard, with no unusual fetishes. Well, maybe except that the girls aren't just humans, but also elves, witches, and so on. 🔸 GALLERY - You can find it in the menu, but it doesn't show the sex scenes you saw in the game, only the 12 explicit images I mentioned above.
SOUND
🔸 MUSIC - For me, this is the best part of the game. The music is incredibly atmospheric throughout playing, helping you immerse yourself in the story. Also there is a lot additional sounds in game. 🔸 VOICE - no voice acting.
STEAM FEATURES
🔸 ACHIEVEMENTS - 63 to unlock. 🔸 TRADING CARDS - no cards.
CONCLUSION
The game has a stunning atmosphere and an action-packed plot. It features engaging characters and an incredible soundtrack. Unfortunately, there are only a few adult scenes, the dialogue is sometimes overly drawn-out, and the backgrounds are less than stellar. Regardless, the game is worth checking out if you are a true fan of fantasy themes. Recommend to play! I like games with a lot of talking. This might have too much. They're having like short story long discussions of how they're going to get from a to b, or how cool and insightful the main character is, or even things they've already discussed in a previous book long discussion. This game doesn't have the issue of the writer talking about non-consequential stuff (like a junior writer might describe every meal someone has) instead it just that each character has to beat their life story and motive every time they open their mouth. It takes soooo long to get anywhere in these conversations; I'm just so tired. There was only one adult scene in all the time I played and the animations are definitely not carrying the game. I had to stop because the game was taking so long to get between each plot point. Even if the plot might be a little interesting, the way it is told is not.
Okay, this latest segment involves lots of laborious reading with multiples choices that are explained on the spot. You then get another long-winded response to those choices before doing a repeat, then further discussion - then repeat, you get my drift! Notwithstanding, the MC was about to encounter the big black knight preceding this segment - maybe, he stepped out for a cuppa and will return on the next segment. Oh, after you make all the choices, expect more in the next segment. So, in a nutshell, not happy Jan.
Based on some of the pretty pictures and synopsis, I figured this would be a decent read/watch . . . Nope. I've read some truly awful AVNs in the past, and while this one is not offensively bad (yet), it is up there in terms of writing, as in, I can't read any more of it and the only reason I've read as much of it as I have was because I was baked. Baked reading takes the edge off, I've just gotta say. In fact, in the weeks since I've purchased it, I save it to read just before bed and just after getting baked (I have significant sleeping issues). I say this so one can understand that this AVN does serve a purpose. It goes like this: I play whatever game I'm enjoying up until I have to get to bed for work. Then, I go outside, toke up, come back, read some of this and save the game as I've become so sleepy that I can sleep until it's time to prepare for work. Perfect! Which is literally how I've spent time with this game. It is unremittingly boring. It's poorly written boring too. I'm saying nothing of the persons ideas of what a story is here, I'm speaking from a technical, nuts-and-bolts, sausage making perspective. What is supposed to be witty banter (like in David Edding's works) comes off as shrewish and mean. The main character is as bland and banal as any I've seen in an AVN, and his inner thoughts would probably be best kept to himself. His initial love interest is a beautiful, yet empty shell of a elf, that has nothing worth offering that I can tell, beyond being an attractive travelling companion. For some reason I was hoping that something, ANYTHING, might happen, so I kept reading. One sex scene in (at about 110 minutes of baked reading in) I'm still bored and decided to pull the plug. Word of advice to the author and any of you that are considering becoming an author to sell one of these AVNs: There is a reason that editors exist, and it isn't just to help an author. The pile of manuscripts on their desks (in the old days) was called the "slush pile" for a reason. And the garbage can was called the "round file" for a reason too. 99 percent of all submissions would end up in that last category. This is one such submission. If you truly want to make money doing this, then the most basic thing one can do, which this author did not, is run their writing through a grammar, punctuation, and spelling program. Not doing so is lazy and insulting to the people buying it.
I wanted to like this game. The creator is really focused on the story and the "adult" part of the game is incidental at best. The renders are beautiful. There is no real animation. There is a slideshow / power point type effect between images to give a sense of motion but, it's all still images. There are hours and hours of text reading to get a lewd scene that isn't that risque in all honesty. That's completely fine and it may work for some people but, to me the story wasn't great either. It serviceable but I've played much better AVN's. There were portions of the game where you keep riding in the back of a wagon, over and over. I felt like I was so bored, I tuned out.
Story is written well, graphics are nice and clean, overall a decent VN with quite a few choices to keep your interest.
Tried to load my game and it crashed. I commend the developer for their honesty in their recent post but saying not enough people bought my game so I just finished it quickly is not great marketing and I won't be buying anymore of these.
