After you collect a power, it will be the next one you use, so be careful about the order of your actions. Some puzzles will require you to think outside the box.

Fantastic puzzle game in the vein of I Wanna Lockpick (though without the math). Also features a cool meta mechanic. Will update as I play more
It's one of the best puzzle games I've played. Every challenge puzzle/S-puzzle requires lateral thinking. Only one of them has been kinda lame so far, but all the rest have been great. Not finished with the game yet, but I'm always looking forward to what trick I'll have to figure out for the next challenge puzzle. This is really one of the only puzzle games I've played where thinking outside the box is, by design, a requirement for finding the solutions. The normal puzzles are fun as well: They're on the easier side early in the game and get harder as you progress. My only real complaint is that the world is a bit maze-like. Yeah, meta puzzles are fine or whatever, but a lot of navigating the overarching world which connects all the puzzles is just trying to figure out where to go next, and that doesn't really provide any meaningful stimulation in my opinion. Oh, also, the demo is kind of set up a bit differently to let you experience certain things earlier on I assume, and as such your progress in the demo doesn't transfer over to the main game which is quite annoying. Gripes aside, the game is really good and you should get it. I was gonna try to win the whole thing in under 2 hours, but at this pace it doesn't seem I will be able to do that lol. Dev definitely deserves the $8 not just for making a game that takes longer than 2 hours to win (even if a lot of that is time spent traveling/navigating/failing to navigate) but for making a very smart and well-designed puzzle game. Oh and it's worth mentioning that I screenshot all the puzzles and just solve them off the screenshots; I only launch the game to navigate, solve, or test mechanics, so you're gonna get a lot more than 2 hours of actual raw puzzle solving out of the game probably.
An excellent puzzle game, every element has so much ways to use it. A lot of "how didn't I think about this before" moment. Some crazy unintended strats too.
astounding puzzle design.
Love it <3 10/10

Very well designed. It is a joy to make inferences in this game. The meta puzzles are very well integrated as well, especially loved World 6.
Platforming here is not used as a challenge, but rather as a set of obstacles that require you to stack elemental abilities in the correct order. But often the solution is not what it first appears, and you need to identify where your assumptions are mistaken. Very good puzzle design and reasonable difficulty curve. It demonstrates the expressiveness of platforming as a medium for puzzles.
Elementalist is a sequence puzzle game where you need to figure out the proper ability stack with the options you're given to reach a target and return to the start. The game takes clear inspiration from I wanna lockpick for the main levels, and some discrete inspiration from modded celeste for the bonus levels. There are too many positive things to say about this game, let's hope I dont forget any To begin with, the game comes with an (incredibly generous) demo, showing the basic format of the gameplay, introducing the main 4 elements and a couple starter mechanics, such as charges and doors, the copy, and so on. But It still offers you the first 3 worlds (+ world 0), and a final puzzle to combine everything so far The content after the demo can be separated in 3 more parts Worlds 4 and 5 add more puzzles and introduce a couple more mechanics, such as toggle doors, one-way playforms and the seemingly useless? love element. The difficulty begins to spike a bit but nothing really gets out of control Spoilers up ahead!!! World 6 is where things begin getting spicy, as traversing the world itself is a puzzle now. By this point you'd have unlocked a permanent upgrade that lets you keep any excess element you didnt use when clearing a puzzle, meaning you'll have to enter levels to clear them but also thinking about what ability you could need to reach the next level, until you're able to beat the world itself - this is very akin to the meta puzzles in baba is you World 7, the final world, takes this a step further, as now the levels are mostly empty and require you to bring abilities from the world itself, but most importantly, other levels. So you'll have to think about what you need and which level to get it from; plus you'll have to revisit most of the levels with different abilties to exit with other ones This is one of the best things about this game, but also one of the negatives I have to mention; while the progress is generally quite linear, the game doesnt offer the option to choose from the many different combinations of elements you have salvaged from any level (it does keep track of the last one of each level and you can auto retrieve that one, which is nice at least) So yeah, to summarize; if you're unsure, just play the demo and let it speak for itself
