Pretty great game with fun build diversity and great devs. Always excited for new content. Only thing negative I can say is that if you pick up any splinter/split upgrades the game turns to a slide show.
Pretty fun. Enjoy the upgrades per run and unlock criteria.
Simple but a good challenge
need some qol: resizeable windowed mode; and change font to more readable like boneraiser minions Seems to move a bit slow and depends on dash for general movement. upgrades are slightly confusing as i dont seem to see ability and ability upgrades are kinda useless. best thing: pierce to bounce conversion, never seen it before in other games. Hope to return in a few patches
Way too unbalance. Meta progression does absolutely nothing, artefact you get on level up does absolutely nothing, enemy spawning and health is way out of control.. this is really not a good experience. And listen, I don't expect every survivor like to be like Vampire Survivor in which you get so powerful nothing can touch you but this is just not fun and feels unfair to play IMHO.
This game has promise, but it should not have been released in the state it presently is in, even as Early Access. It's clearly the dev's first effort, and it's commendable in a lot of ways; the bones of a good game are here. But there are multiple bugs, some game-breaking, as well as some serious design flaws and even a few "first-time game maker" mistakes (like not checking for bullet collision along the bullet's path each frame, only where the bullet actually ends up, causing high-speed bullets to literally teleport through enemies instead of hitting them). It's out, and I'm not going to ask for a refund because I think the dev will do right eventually, but I hope that people will take it to heart that Early Access is for beta releases, not alpha releases. I will change my review to a recommend when the game has reached a state of completion where I can in good conscience recommend it. EDIT: after a couple rounds of mechanical and visual upgrades by the dev, I think the game is at a point where the price is justified. Things work the way they should, with a few minor bugs still present here and there, and the systems have been overhauled to feel less unbalanced. Controller mapping is still an issue, but it's not a deal-breaker and the dev intends to add it; and in the meantime the reworking of auto-aim and auto-fire has taken a lot of the pain from playing with a controller. Worth a look if you like this kind of game, and it's likely to continue improving.
This game can be easy but hard at the same time. You can easily work on your meta builds in the 1st or 2nd difficulty but really matters is the upgrades when you level up. Each one is by chance so you can easily get a set of bad upgrades while other times you can get some strong upgrades. If you don't get the stronger upgrades, you will get overwhelmed and die in the run. It is a good game if you want the challenge where you want to test your reflexes in being able to avoid everything. It does have accessibility for people who struggle in games like this where it has auto fire and auto aim which helps me out a lot since I always lose my mouse in games like this.
It's a fun game. I played the first challenge and had a decent time reaching the bosses. The music changing seemingly to match the boss coming up is pretty fun. I don't play these games much, but this one hit the spot. Can't wait to see what they add!
This game is the Madness! Get it, play it, get all the achievements!
Guns guns guns! Action packed and I stayed up to 5 AM too many times ;-; There's always many QoL updates and this game is starting to polish up into what will be a top tier vampire survivors genre game
