Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

lil janky thang but the atmosphere real good can't wait for eldervale 2
love it, combat isnt for my taste personally but i really love my time with this game Edit: please make more games, im already looking forward to seeing you release more stuff, this is the first game i played with my first gaming pc ever bought so this will always be a special title to me!
loved, love the tribute to silent hill. Good game for a small indie developer and not too short or too long.
Bought -> Enjoyed -> Completed Surprisingly cool and well-controlled (unless you wanna use a controller, unfortunately) third-person survival horror with a subtle Silent Hill-esque atmosphere mixed with cartoony-like indie vibes. Enjoyable puzzles and combat clothed in thematically fitting sound effects and music. If you like all the "usual suspects" in this genre, and you generally like indie games (and you might even find a tiny smigde of jank charming), then I'd say this might be a relatively safe bet for a few hours of fun.
With 122 reviews (123, after this one) for a game released in 2019, Eldervale is probably one of the best games on steam that never quite took off because it needed just one more little push. It's a little buggy, for one. At one point I died, and reloaded. This purged a quest from my log, but left me with the quest items I'd already picked up for that quest. It didn't lead to a soft lock thankfully, but definitely wasn't intended behavior. The combat is probably the biggest bummer of Eldervale. There's melee combat, which is untenable past the most basic enemies, and even they normally will swat through your block bar and take a few nibbles off your life before you can defeat them. After melee combat, you have guns, the only one of which is worth using is the pistol. The pistol being excellent was VERY Resident Evil, which was a clear influence, but still, the shotgun was super unsatisfying to fire, and only worked at kissing distance, and the SMG took more than half a magazine to put down a basic enemy. So, pistol it was, from the time I got it to the time I fought the last boss, and I basically never pulled anything else out of the treat machines but pistol ammo and I wanna say health once or twice. The enemies also have no stagger reaction to damage of any kind, which is the hallmark of a rough combat system outside of anything that's not in the Diablo / Path of Exile stable. Even Resident Evil took this to heart during later installments. The last boss also, while very cool, was a super awkward fight, which felt sticky and confusing and not particularly great, though I do appreciate that ammo continued to spawn around the arena, without which it would have been essentially impossible. The graphics in some specific cases were a little too, shiny, too "round", or difficult to tell precisely what you were looking at (are those elder tentacles coming out of that neck stump, little bones, is it rebar?). Ok, so the combat system needed a major rework. But basically everything else just needed a little brush-brush, and it would be a banger. The atmosphere is great, the creature design is neat, the story is as classic as it is cliché, which is perfect for horror. The variable difficulty of puzzles is a neat idea you don't really see a lot of, and the tokens / treat machines were also groovy (I like the idea of being able to buy precisely what I need when I come across a machine, but it was balanced enough that despite giving me that agency it didn't ruin the difficulty curve). The map was great, it just needed an arrow indicating where my character was and which way she was facing, as a lot of the rooms are squares or rectangles and so it's otherwise difficult to orient yourself. There was a remake being worked on at some point, which maybe would have solved some of these issues, and I feel like I even heard about an "Eldervale 2" at some point somewhere, but checking the forums, it sounds like financial difficulties will likely prevent either of these from seeing the light of day, which I think is a serious shame because again, aside from a full rework of combat, everything else needed just a few little tweaks to make Eldervale SLAP. I still recommend you play it, if for no other reason than to hopefully bridge the financial gap keeping the remake / Eldervale 2 from happening, and because despite the jank there's some great atmosphere, classic storytelling, and cool creatures in there.
Schade
