[H1]First Impressions[/H1]
My initial impressions of this game are pretty good. It's an interesting concept and unique gameplay. The whole game is a little bit goofy but I think that's what makes it so interesting.
[H1]Gameplay[/H1]
Eggs 1942 is a very simple concept. You're an egg in a war and you roll to hit the enemies. The faster you roll, the more damage you do. At the same time, you'll be capturing points.
[H1]Content[/H1]
The game in its current state has a decent amount of content. You can play custom matches where you choose out of a variety of maps and how many eggs each team has. The game doesn't limit how many eggs you can choose to put in, so this is only limited by the capability of your computer. There is also a campaign, which has a series of missions. Each one has a short briefing, explaining why you're there and what you're doing. As well as all this, you can gain XP and unlock cosmetics and new egg classes. Which brings me to the customisation menu. It's fairly basic, but you can put on things like hats, change your egg size and choose your class from here.
[H1]Technical Breakdown[/H1]
[B]Graphics[/B]
I find the graphics to be a strange combination of simple and colourful objects to more detailed assets. Although they clash slightly, it gets the job done.
[B]Sound[/B]
The sound is very basic in this game. There are only a few sounds and some music, not really much to say about it.
[B]Performance[/B]
The game runs fairly well in general, however I did experience a few crashes. This is still an early access game though, so that can be expected.

[B]The Developer[/B]
Judging by the development posts, the developer is reasonably active and is working well to add more to the game.
[B]Is It Worth The Money?[/B]
At the price of 5 dollars, I'd say that you can get a decent amount of fun out of it. There is promise for the game's future and is worth the price.
[H1]Final Thoughts[/H1]
The game is still in early access and therefore can use more work, but it shows promise and is worth a try. Besides, how could you turn down all the eggy puns?
