The Euphoric Brother have done it again!! This is a fantastic game with absolutely no flaws at all. The gameplay is really diverse and the jumpscares get you every time! The instructions for this game are also really well explained!!! I felt no confusion while playing this game Overall another fine addition from the Euphoric Bros!
Maybe this game is beatable, maybe not. I tried and failed, the games mechanics are confusing and maybe even glitched, when that STUPID ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EYE APPEARS IDK WHAT THE HELL TO DO... *ahem* so sadly I cant go 10 minutes without dying meaning I cant even beat the game, and so I watched the ending on YouTube and even that seemed like some BS... so im NOT gonna recommend this game for others
this game is actually a good starting horror game, good expectations, but not TOO good, I've played both the og and the demo, but the demo is honestly way more understandable and genuinely fun, if u want to get into horror but don't know where to start, this is the game for u
É INCRIVEEEELL!
Honestly, I want to like this one. I like the idea of exploring a procedurally generated juvenile detention center, and that you have to look for the threat itself instead of running away (at least, most of the time). However, there are a lot of cons that outweigh the pros that I need to point out, as not many seem to talk about it. - Our protagonist moves very slowly, and running isn’t any better either. Also, looking down interferes with movement (which shouldn't happen). Changing the character speed values could make walking/running feel better. - When opening a closed door, 2 of the 3 options are to use a lock-pick or a key. Using a key on a random door can cause a softlock and force a restart, since you need to collect 10 keys to open the purple door. The lock-pick mechanic is finicky, working only 50% of the time, and can be hard to use in bright areas. A possible fix is to make the lock-pick function like a key and remove the key option. - The flashlight doesn't always illuminate the path brightly, especially after not using it for a few seconds or when avoiding a threat (since the flashlight's battery is very limited). It's always a gamble and can be risky to utilize, especially when Gumpty is around. - The story is lackluster, with it being left on a cliffhanger, and extra lore explained in audio logs scattered randomly. There's not much to say here, since the game is presumably left unfinished. - While there is a custom mode available, it's currently broken as it is, as the purple room is always open at the entrance, with a bug where Gumpty can still show up unexpectedly, making it impossible to beat any of the preset options. - The game doesn't pause when you pause it, and there are no settings on the title screen (only in-game). The game settings aren't saved, having to be readjusted every time. Even after all that, there aren't enough settings to tweak graphical options like V-Sync and graphics presets. - The game's performance is mediocre and doesn't list any proper system requirements. It's advertised as "Should work on everything,” which is confirmed to not be the case after testing it on a 4GB RAM laptop, likely due to poor optimization. - Lastly, the game exhibits false advertising by promoting itself as an "infinitely" procedurally-generated game, despite being limited by a black border after reaching a boundary on the map. In conclusion, this game presents an interesting and unique concept, but it is difficult to justify the $5 price tag, given its short runtime and the numerous issues that prevent it from being enjoyable. 5/10 P.S. (10/19/2024): I ended up getting a dream about this exact game (with a couple of twists), so this egg monster has officially haunted me in some way or form.
its so dumb but so fun
Muy Bueno Para Entretener. Buenas Mecásicas Y Jugabilidad
Pretty challenging when starting out (huge learning curve), but overall 10/10 game. Good Scares, interesting idea. CAUTION there is no save mechanic, if you fail you have to start from the beginning. Also... the Cat is friendly, so that's a plus
