Found the first key and opened the corresponding room. Found the second key and the only "active" door. It made an unlocking sound but would not open. And...I'm done traipsing these hallways. What is with the galloping footstep sounds anyway? Annoying.

Walk in, search for a key. Enter another room, search for a key. Keep checking doors over and over again until one unlocks, search for another key. Lame "jumpscares" and sound effects. Got bored, and quit. Rating: 1/10
I can't say any good things about the game. Gameplay - boring Scary - No Bugs - a lot Unfinished - Yes Graphics - kinda good? Not worth putting in your time, glad this was free or I'd have refunded. I rarely put negative reviews but this was just bad.
not sure how some of you even could play this. i couldn't open any doors except reception to look at the list of rooms. walk around for 10 minutes trying the doors. i know there are rooms cause you can kind of glitch through the wall and glimpse whats in there but alas. Also say the number on the floor couldn't pick that up. at least it was free.
First of all, huge respect to the devs! For a first game, The Echoveil: The Last Guest is genuinely impressive—especially considering it's completely free. That's a huge win 👏 Here’s what stood out: What I Liked: -The atmosphere and sound design were solid. -A free indie horror game with this level of detail is rare. -Strong potential from Tamil developers—big respect! Frustration Points: -The key system was a bit confusing. -Some rooms stayed dark even with lights on—a torchlight would help. -The trash and clutter on the ground made key-hunting tough. -Ghosting effect when opening doors—some graphics optimization needed. -Having visible key numbers could help match them to doors better. I spent a lot of time revisiting the same places. Overall Thoughts: If a few of these bugs are fixed, this game could be a standout title in the indie horror space. Definitely worth trying, and I’m looking forward to future updates from the devs!
