About
In Echoes of the End, you play as Ryn, a powerful vestige born with an affinity for what remains of an ancient magic. When her brother is captured and war threatens to engulf her homeland, Ryn must rise to defend it before it’s consumed by conflict.
Alongside Abram, a seasoned scholar with a haunted past, she embarks on a journey that will test their newly forged bond, uncover buried secrets, and challenge what it truly means to wield power in a world on the brink of collapse.
The handcrafted world of Echoes of the End draws inspiration from the raw, untamed beauty of Iceland, a land where fire and ice coexist in striking contrast. Towering glaciers, ancient lava fields, and vast geothermal plains form the backbone of its landscapes, each shaped by nature’s elemental force. Traverse windswept valleys, descend into glowing volcanic depths, and uncover a realm filled with monsters, mysteries, and relics of a lost civilization where magic and machinery intertwine.
Combat in Echoes of the End is fast, deliberate, and brutal, blending precise swordplay with devastating vestige powers.
Chain heavy strikes, parries, and magical abilities with seamless grace before finishing off your opponents with visceral execution moves.
Use your magic to hurl enemies into each other, into environmental hazards, or off sheer cliffs. Drain their life to sustain yourself in the heat of battle, and unlock new abilities across four upgrade trees that let you tailor your approach to combat throughout your adventure.
Ryn is not alone. Her capable companion Abram fights alongside her, using his abilities to damage, stun, trip, and grab enemies, creating perfect openings for devastating follow-up attacks.
Whether you’re here for the story or seeking a true challenge, Echoes of the End has something for everyone.
The new Journey difficulty strikes a balance between combat intensity and steady progression, making it the definitive way for newcomers to experience the game’s story, combat, and exploration.
Puzzles and platforming are at the heart of Echoes of the End’s adventure. Every chapter introduces a distinct visual theme and unique puzzle mechanics, ensuring that no two areas feel alike, from ancient ruins powered by shifting energy to volcanic chambers with twisted gravity.
Solve intricate environmental challenges that blend logic, timing, and exploration, often requiring clever use of Ryn’s abilities to manipulate the world around her. Leap, dash, and double-jump your way through a breathtaking world as you develop a growing arsenal of magical traversal powers throughout the journey.
Forge your own path through a progression system that rewards mastery and experimentation, with over 40 upgrades that enhance and expand Ryn’s arsenal of skills. Every choice defines how you fight, explore, and survive in this ever-evolving world.
Outfits and relics further shape Ryn’s strengths, allowing you to adapt your approach to combat with unique builds and strategies. Unlock 13 outfits to personalize Ryn’s appearance and discover more than 20 relics that dramatically alter the flow of encounters, letting you fine-tune your playstyle, from relentless offense to tactical precision.

Treiber ForceWare 610.47

Details Hoch / DLSS: Qualität

DLSS Runtime v310.6 (aktualisiert)

Auflösung 2560x1440

FPS 70 (gelockt)

Spielversion 2.04 ⸻⸻ 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀ [*]Follow Main group [*]Follow Second group [*]Follow Third group
Cheers, Fletcher
Hadn't heard of this game until I saw it in a "similar to a game that's similar to a game that I liked" when looking for a good action RPG, picked it up on the steam summer sale, just finished it, and have zero regrets. I guess I'm glad that the Enhanced edition updates happened before I found this, since a lot of other reviewer's complaints seemed to be non-issues for me. Pros: - fun combat with great animations - gorgeous scenery - kept a steady smooth framerate - story is good enough to keep it going, worldbuilding and backstory does the job - voice acting is surprisingly good, though a few lines did feel weird - I liked the characters, and I'm glad that Ryn and Abram had flaws and arcs and weren't just "good and right all the time" Cons - so many invisible walls - could really use some animation variety for all the health refill stone piles and those magic rocks that need vanishing -- Ryn uses the same animation for both, every time. It's cool but got old. at least give each one a unique anim? - lip syncing to voice lines was sometimes great and sometimes weird (possibly based on LOD or how far the character was from the camera? Zara looked like she was talking around a mouthful of food a lot of the time) Seriously - SO so many invisible walls. just so many. Overall: 8.5/10, looking forward to doing NG+ at some point, and I hope this game did/does well enough that the studio gets to keep making games, it really shows a lot of promise!
Despite the hate this game gets, it was hella enjoyable. The main character development from raging b**** to what she turned out to be in the was great. The only thing I could stand was the damn puzzles , its so many!
A Modern Classic!
Nix was stört, sondern überwiegend Spaß macht. Guckt euch Uncharted an! ⚡
Gameplay matters. It always did matter. It was the only thing that mattered... or so I thought. It speaks for itself. This is AA quality (or nearly). Fantastic. No doubt the mechanics and the way things handle is better than many many games. Its enjoyable. The unenjoyable part - Dialogue. Horrendous dialogue. Immersion breaking dialogue. A very unlikable little girl with princess syndrome. Quite sexist too. I'll continue playing but I can only take so much of the "Awesome" immersion breaking dialogue from a self-centered-man-hatin main character. Which is YOU or ME. I can't stand MYSELF in the game. Gameplay does matter... But I have to love myself and I don't... in the game. So this has changed my whole thoughts on modern gaming. Get it on sale. I hate to do that from the fantastic developers but the main character is vomit and it really takes away from what this could have been.
I'm trying to beat challenge difficulty, now I am in chapter 7, fighting one crab and two lizards and I can say It is totally gucked up
I gave Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition a fair shot—about 8 hours’ worth—and while I didn’t hate my time with it, I also can’t say I’d recommend it. The story is solid and I genuinely respect what this AA studio was going for, but the gameplay just didn’t click with me. The biggest hurdle is how puzzle-heavy it is. I went in expecting more of an action-adventure, but instead got what felt like a full-time job as a puzzle intern. Some of them are clever, sure, but it ended up being more than I was looking for. Which brings me to the jank. There’s a noticeable amount of it—animations, controls, general flow—that makes everything feel a bit rough around the edges. All in all, I appreciate the ambition here, and I think there’s an audience that will really enjoy it. I’m just not that audience. If you love puzzles and can tolerate a bit of jank, you might have a great time. For me, though, this one’s a polite “no thanks.”
A really impressive debut game from a small studio. The visuals are just gorgeous, and the characters and story interesting. The developers have improved the game with a legion of free patches and updates which has added a lot of polish, and a ton of welcome new features. Especially loving the combat and gameplay tweaks, a new settings in the gameplay menu. Also a pretty impressive photo mode. I played the game at launch, and I’m playing through again now. I will say that I’m personally not a fan of puzzles in games, and this game has a LOT of them. But I just look up the answers if I really get stuck - I have no problem with doing that so I can continue the game. I’m sure other gamers won’t have any difficulty solving the puzzles. MOTE - My Steam profile shows that I’ve only played .4 hours of the game, which was on Steamdeck. I’m actually playing the game on Xbox. I did download it for my Steamdeck but when Steam lists the game as “not supported” on steam deck, they’re not kidding. It’s clearly made for PC or console.
a solid linear action adventure with environmental puzzle solving. great graphics that show off beautiful landscapes and some solid enough combat. the story wasn't amazing but decent enough. if they make a sequel i'd gladly play it .
