About
E.O.T.B REMASTERED is an upcoming remastered version of E.O.T.B, currently in development, offering the finest cinematic quality of the game, exactly as i envisioned it from the start. Its been almost three long years crafting this experience, and i am very proud to see, true horror come to life one last time. You can either support the game by getting it now and playing it later (when the remaster launches - you get a discount as well that way), OR if you are really eager you can play the current version of it!
READ ME!
The remastered version of the game is in development, players that have already bought the game will receive the remastered version for free.
AFTER THE REMASTER LAUNCHES, PRODUCT PRICE WILL INCREASE.

You play as Oliver, a mechanic at a secret underground laboratory. There, a non government organization tries multiple tests to achieve creating a time machine, however while tweaking one of the machines it errors, creating a dimension paradox, specifically a portal to a non-linear dimension, the Backrooms. A place where time and space unfold in unforeseen ways. Will you find a way back to your reality? Or will you become part of this twisted horror dimension?

The game is very nice. At first, I really liked that in the 1st level the riddle could be solved in different ways. The poolroom didn't open the first time, but with the Optimizer it managed to open. However, it will have to be fixed. Also, it surprised me is how well designed all the levels are and in combination with the story of the game it makes the whole experience very enjoyable. Personally, I think the liminal hotel is one of the best loyalties I've seen in a game. In general, except for some small bugs, I enjoyed it a lot!!!
Very fun game with cool environments to explore! Had a great time! Great pacing with the vfx and sound design.
nice game, good graphics, mid optimisation, ok enough voice acting, kinda scary depends on how you see it. I show this game on a discord server, it looked kinda cool also was pretty cheap only 9,75 euro, I never played a backrooms game before so this was my first time, also Greek developer I have to support my people. The game was good had some bugs like at the start of the game when you need to find the calculation/code what ever it was to put in that machine and open the door, when I went to the computer to get the code it was for some reason very very hard to see it, I had ray tracing on full and I think it made the computer screen kinda too bright and I couldn't really see anything. But anything else was pretty good. I wish the game had an FOV slider thought I kinda don't like the default Fov its kinda too low and causes some nausea at least to me. DLSS is kinda buggy too like some times it decreases the quality way too much that the game looks pixilated on 3440:1440 decreased to 50%, but at like 80% its ok but kinda laggy. So yea using DLSS at lower resolutions will probably make the game look 8 bit. Do I recommend: Kinda depends on what you like, Its kinda short at the moment but more content will be added soon also needs a strong pc one that runs ray tracing, Preferably nvidia cause the game has no fsr or xess only DLSS and NIS , which both need an NVIDIA GPU NIS: for gtx cards and DLSS: for rtx. I recommend a 12gb vram card for ray tracing cause the game doesn't have the best optimisation expect if your ok with the game looking like its 8 bit. Now for cpu im not sure I think any 8 core CPU after or made in 2021 should be ok. An 8gb vram card should work fine too but don't expect more than 60 fps or for it to work on anything above 1080p with epic settings. Also no frame gen. Now the game does have an optimisation guide but I didn't use it. Also theirs no option or at least I couldn't find it but you cant change anything else only lighting options, Pressing settings just opens the lighting menu no textures or anything like that only ray tracing options or screen space reflections and there quality and what objects you want ray traced. Yea this game relies too much on ray tracing kinda bad if you have an older level of rtx card like a 2060/3060. But the gameplay is fine if your pc can run at a steady frame rate than you will probably like the game. EDIT: Turns out the game runs on quite a bit of hardware on lower settings i manage to get it to run on a lenovo legion go. My lenovo settings where: custom 30w, fans on full speed and 4gb of vram. My in game settings where 1280:800p, 80% resolution scale, all 2 ray tracing options on and quick vis settings at performance. So yea maybe even a 3060 can run the game at good settings. Didn't get the best performance on legion go but 45 fps average on most maps and 60 fps on small maps was good. But poolrooms 1 which is the shortest map in the game run at 22 average fps but only at the start. Now dont expect anything good with a card that can't do ray tracing like a gtx card. But yea AMD is supported too it seems cause the legion go has AMD integrated graphics.
ngl this is the best singleplayer Backrooms game so far. as i know this is first game that focused on a psychological horror and it's copes with that unsettling vibe
(and some jumpscares)
. imo this poolrooms is the first that can REALLY demonstrate liminal spaces (but optimization and my computer says "20 frames per second, bro" for that levels, sadly). This game is worth this price. But there is some issues that i met:

in Level 0 when you get caught by Entity you just respawns and... Entity is gone, he not gonna chase you after this and this sucks, you can freely run on this level without fear
,
optimization: poolrooms says hello,
main menu (with setting menu): main menu just sucks, in settings menu hard to setting graphics (so i really can't set post processing and anti-aliasing lol,
language translation: too machinery,
that goofy jump lol
What can i say? Of course you need to play it (lol its on discount now). With patches and bug fixes the game is cool.
(SPOILER!) i literally love this game! It affected my imaginary so much, one time Im scared to death, jumping my chair, and the other time I'm staring at beautiful sky during the storm and listening "Clair de Lune", which makes the vibe even more stressful x) I'm a big fan of the realistic animations! Missing component was a little challenge for me, but that's an interesting thing in horror game, trying to figure it out and being terrified at the same time. I had a lot of fun!
UPDATE: since the updates the game has been better also like the fact i can select the level and skip the first area which isn't great. still has a ton of crash issues and always seems to crash, it isn't for everyone though, i am only giving it a thumbs up because of the skip ability of levels which is a nice touch but the game is still just broken and it shouldn't be this hard also blocking areas removes you to full immerse yourself in the worlds, I have played other games that didn't block everything and made you look for things, puzzles is fine in a game but when there isn't any clues most people wouldn't even try your game because they would be frustrated running in circles of the same areas that feels very linear once you go into it, needs to feel more like you're lost with the world not stuck in areas looking for a way to move onto the next area, needs a ton of work and Feel like there are other greater games with the ability to make you feel lost than this one.
Pretty good psychological horror backrooms game. Graphically quite demanding.
It's super blurry and hard to look at. This fact alone ruins any experience you may expect to have with this game. Really hard to believe there is not an option to turn off these filters.
