Super fun rhythm based combat with likeable characters well worth the current price for the amount of content in the game the game is fairly challenging but never feels unfair I absolutely can't wait for the updates to to bring even more content and fun to the game

In the 38 minutes I have played I have witnessed a gay demon boy person thing flirt with like, 7 people. [strike] 7/10 - 1 point for each person [/strike] Okay, jokes aside this game is charming and has a pretty good soundtrack (That's how I even discovered this game, one of the songs got recommended to me on YouTube) as far as I am with completion. The good: - Soundtrack - Character designs - Art Style - Humor (hehe pirates funny) - Blocking Mechanics! - Defeat counter - Plenty of options to alter the difficulty for yourself - The UI (YIIK developers eat your heart out) - The gay - The first boss The meh: - Attacks (Kind of underwhelming compared to the enemies) [still better than... certain... rpgs] The bad: - The game is on rails (Which, considering there's stuff in the background of the scenes that look important, maybe won't be the case forever) - Feedback from failing to defend isn't very strong, causing some attacks to hit without you knowing you got hit until you look up at your hp. This makes it hard to figure out the timing for defense. - No tutorial (I hate em as much as the next person, but info on TP would've been nice) (Also it's early access maybe there'll be one in the future) - I wish there was some alternative way to build up TP rather than just skipping a turn - The main duo isn't on screen very long before the first fight begins - You don't get enough money to buy anything from the shop before the first boss - The first boss's health pool The glitches: - At time of writing I encountered a softlock in the [spoiler] pirates' cave section [/spoiler] when I used the 50TP team attack. It did the animation and then locked up so E&K were eternally pondering some orbs. All in all, it takes me back to the good ol' days of M&L which, BIS being my favorite game of all time, is a really good thing. I have high hopes for this game! I think you should play it! do it [spoiler] censored [/spoiler] you won't. I won't give it a number rating because those are for [strike] IGN [/strike] suckas.

this is the most underrated rpg ive ever played, my only complaint is that i cant beat the final boss, other than that this is one of my favorite games ever, the story is amazing, and the music is one of the best ive ever had from a game

It has the humour, it has the fun, it has the characters, you're not going to have a bad time with this game, although you may find some bosses really hard, so sit, relax and enjoy.

The game is incredibly solid, very lovingly made! I love the difficulty, I like my games tough but fair and this one certainly fits that! The themes are on point and the artwork is very crisp, worth every penny!
