Echo Isle

This is a fun little game that is very reminiscent of the Game Boy version of Link's Awakening, although a bit simpler in design and scope. The adventure combines that traditional hack and slash gameplay, along with some bullet-hell-like elements (at least towards the end) that require players to pay attention and play smart instead of simply using brute force to get through tricky encounters. Definitely worth playing if you're a fan of Zelda games!

You can really finish the game in an hour. I'm surprised by the high quality and all the gameplay mechanics. That must have taken a lot of work. The game reminds me of the Game Boy Color Zelda games. Overall, there’s a small overworld, 4 dungeons, and a final boss. The only thing I find really unfortunate is that the gamepad and keyboard controls are broken. You need the left mouse button for the main menu and the mouse wheel for selecting items.

A fun little adventure. I found the last few boss fights a bit too difficult.

Simple and sweet, giving a quick success. I really like the concept of making a fully complete polished game even if the playtime is not long. Very fun and quick.

It's a bite-sized Link's Awakening, and it's only $5. Get it.

Kurz aber nett. Nostalgie ist hier der Fundament und jeder kennt das Vorbild. Der Preis ist für diese Kleine Zeitreise okay. Großen Respekt an den Entwickler! Wenn ich mir in diesem kleinem Abenteuer noch etwas gewünscht hätte, dann wäre es eine Belohnung oder Upgrade gewesen wenn man "alle" Kristalle einsammelt. Oder habe ich vielleicht noch gar nicht alle....
