Echo Generation: Midnight Edition

[h3]Ein wirklich gutes Spiel![/h3] Echo Generations erzählt die Geschichte aus Sicht eines/einer Jugendlichen und der Schwester, die ein kleines Vorstadtabenteuer voller merkwürdiger Vorkommnisse bestreiten müssen. Daraus entwickelt sich schnell eine persönliche Questline. Große Teile des Spiels sind Adventure-artig aufgebaut. Man findet 5 oder 6 Wege/Dinge bei denen man noch nicht weiterkommt und puzzelt sich nach und nach weiter voran, bis man im Finale ist. Man erkennt schnell viel Liebe zum Detail, trotz der Voxel-Optik. Die Kämpfe sind erst leicht, werden gegen Mitte etwas anspruchsvoller und pendeln sich gegen Ende zu machbaren Schwierigkeitsgraden ein, je nachdem, welche Begleiter man auswählt. Das ganze ist Rundenbasiert und man findet Comichefte, die einem jeweils eine weitere Fähigkeit geben. Wer eine ernste Geschichte erwartet ist hier falsch. Die Erzählung hat durchaus ihre kleinen tragischen oder emotionalen Momente, die aber schnell von den ganzen skurrilen Dingen und Scherzen überdeckt werden. Etwas störend ist die manchmal ein wenig unpassende Mimik der Charaktere und die längeren leeren Laufwege gegen Ende des Abenteuers. [h3]Fazit:[/h3] Schade, dass ich Echo Generations erst mit Erscheinen des zweiten Teiles kennengelernt habe. Ein humorvolles kleines Voxel-Stranger-Things, das an die guten alten JRPGs erinnert. Ob die 8 Stunden den vollen Preis wert sind, müsst ihr wissen, aber im Angebot ist es ein absoluter Kracher!

挺好玩的，游戏娱乐性不错，说在前面，是推荐购买的（折扣价下） 看其他评论优点说得多，我就说几个缺点吧 1、剧情毫无铺垫，开局选完小人直接开始，”我是谁？我在哪儿？”的感觉超级强烈，房间里电脑的邮箱邮件和剧本我以为跟后续剧情和游戏有关，实际并没有 2、顺着1说，同理，游戏指引相对较弱，虽然地毯式跑图可以解决100%的问题+全成就 3、游戏时长跟价格相对的话，属于性价比低的，全成就流程大约就10-12小时，还算是慢性子游玩状态的，目前史低价40几，也就是4元/小时，这样算算，如果日厂JRPG同样史低价的话，可以1-2元/小时，当然，游戏是不能这么算的，哈哈哈

Such an awesome and unique RPG, and it gets me big with the very nastalgic scenery, ive left my characters sitting on the side of the cliff staring into the evening sun while i napped on the couch, i realize that may sound kinda weird lol but im just saying, super awesome atmosphere this one has and all of their games are super cool, tho this is my fav and tho i played this on xbox never beat it beat it now on steam before i play ECHO GENERATION 2!!!, ending was epic and as an older gamer with a huge heart for nastalgic vibes, this is one of the best ne school gamesive ever played, just can't sing it's praises enough, i know the new one EG2 is a prequal but i sure hope this ends up being a trilogy because i'd love to see a new adventure with main character his sister and Jasmin and whatever pets they take on in the cru please continue this series and don't forget the nastalgic chill settings and heart, i can't get enough

I bought this game on sale because I really enjoyed the demo for Echo Generation 2. I'm not someone who typically enjoys turn-based games but I actually thoroughly enjoyed myself. The music, characters, graphics, and writing were SO good! I also enjoyed the quick-time type of turn-based combat that the game had. I did have to look up a couple of things (to 100% the comic books) but other than that the game is pretty intuitive. I highly recommend this game!

I wasn't really convinced at first because the stats gained by leveling didn't seem that satisfiying (even because farming exp was terrible for a long part of the game) against enemies up until the second major boss [spoiler](the one in the dump)[/spoiler], but then it's clear that the stats were very balanced to have interesting fights (even if it's a bit of pain at the start to farm until you've decent stats to be able to consistently resist bosses and have decent damages). Yes, some bosses may feel easier than others even if they are subsequent, either for tactics and/or hp, but the majority of the fight were very satisfying, but all where visually stunning and mechanically impressive, even for the strange atmosphere [spoiler](the Wendigo and the giant Worm fights were incredible)[/spoiler]. Visually and exploration wise is a fantastic gem, above all when any boss or major enemy emerge, it shows impressive creativity of design, be they completely original or a reference to monsters from cult movies but with a very original design of their own, some of them honestly looks more terryfing than the one they reference. And also it might not be the hardest turn based rpg, but it surely delivers an interesting and fun challenge, and for sure you can never let your guard down

«Echo Generation: Midnight Edition» — это отличный выбор для любителей инди-игр и ролевых приключений в стиле 90-х . Определённо рекомендую каждому попробовать эту игру, особенно тем, кто ценит оригинальные и атмосферные проекты! Только сначала танцы с руссификатором)))

Fun little game that kept a tight scope and is better for it

It feels the game intended to have a few thing that has gone to the cutting room floor. Like the game split into several days an email system that was supposed to get more emails. That said it's still a pretty good rpg that enjoyed. So I'll recommend playing it.

Turn based RPG with the Paper Mario timed mechanic for more damage/defence, and family friendly Stranger Things supernatural small town vibe. Fun, charming, irreverent, and sometimes beautiful.

Super underrated, gorgeous bite-sized rpg!
