Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 364/day in the week to Jul 17 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Eastward is a beautifully detailed and charming adventure game, from Shanghai-based indie developers, Pixpil.
In the near-future, society is starting to collapse, and the human population is at an all-time low. A deadly toxic presence has spread across the land, destroying and devouring everything in its path.
Those who could escape the miasma flocked to underground villages to start a new life. But for a hardworking miner and a mysterious young girl, the hope of a thriving outside world beckons…
Escape the tyrannical clutches of Potcrock Isle's subterranean society and join Eastward’s unlikely duo on an exciting adventure to the land above! Discover beautiful yet bizarre settlements and make new friends as you travel across the world by rail.
Contains adult humour and some mature themes.
Discover the wonderfully weird world of Eastward. Climb aboard the cross-country railway which spans this decaying continent, stopping off to explore its bustling towns, curious campsites and shady forests.
Fend off peculiar monsters and ferocious bosses with John’s weapon of choice - be it a flamethrower, cog-shooter or your trusty ol’ frying pan. Feeling merciful? Try temporarily stunning them with Sam’s kinetic blast.
Switch between John and Sam to solve environmental puzzles and fight your way through formidable dungeons. Separate the duo to unlock hidden paths or stick together as you traverse a perilous landscape.
Get to know a quirky cast of characters with oodles of personality! Immerse yourself in a heartwarming story-driven adventure, packed with fun and wacky humour.
Create deliciously authentic Eastwardian cuisine using (mostly) fresh, organic ingredients from toxic forests, potcrab farms and abandoned malls. These delicacies will grant health bonuses, power boosts and secret boons.
Bop along to a wonderfully upbeat soundtrack composed by Joel Corelitz (Death Stranding, Hohokum, The Unfinished Swan), with sound design from Irish studio, Hyperduck Soundworks (Dust: An Elysian Tail, Kingdom Rush)

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, GOG, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

The story is a bit confusing past chapter 5 but with the DLC (or reading this: https://www.reddit.com/r/eastward/comments/1nhxcyt/explaining_eastwards_story_lore_spoilers_for/), you can understand all of it. I won't get into Octopia but Eastward is an incredible experience and I highly recommend it for the cozy and mind-boggling experiences
Adoro a sam
挺好玩的,剧情再多写点就好了。出新作我会支持的
The visual design is really, really good (there are hundreds of small animations made in the pixel art style which are gorgeous to look at and they even put godrays and shadows into the mix) and unique. The game's main plot starts out pretty well and got me hooked instantly. The combat isn't a 10/10 and can be a bit clunky sometimes, but it's solid enough so you won't be too annoyed by it - I even had some fun during the encounters. However, the game gets progressively boring with each new chapter. Dungeons get larger, enemies get more bullet-spongy, the amount of padding and filler missions increases and the main plot grinds to an absolute halt for many hours. You get stuck in a big city talking to people about the most mundane stuff and get missions like "Hunt some fish for three hours so we can cook some fish". Riveting gameplay. After fifteen hours, I lost interest and turned off the game when it threw a very annoying stealth mission at me. It's too long, it's got too much padding - which is really sad, since it started out SO well.
