Gameplay wise it's one of the better Maddens in history. Ultimate team is pure trash greed, My Career could be the same way if you let it be, Franchise though is absolutely perfect. All the stuff they added is actually insane. Personally I think the game is worth the asking price, but can't hurt to wait and see how long before it's 30% off or something.
This game is a predatory casino, that forces you to spend big money if you want to play online. It has entire marketplace, that requires you buy points to purchase packs and those packs basically give you a "CHANCE" to get cards. If you don't get the cards you need you have to keep buying points to buy more packs untill you eventually get the cards you need or sell the lower ones to buy the usable ones. Seriously can't figure out how 1) Steam allows this on thier platform 2)Ea gets away with exploiting kids like this. Disgusting.

I decided to buy Madden 27 after taking a 1 year hiatus. I have always played and loved these games. I know you're basically getting a recycled version every year with a few tweaks. So far I have enjoyed this game. After 13 hours of play, today is the day I am dealing with a crash. Game will not startup. I updated drivers and verified files in steam. Still the game does not want to open. I'm sure the problem will be fixed soon but still a pain in the ass. For a billion dollar company and top of the line game developers you'd think these inconveniences would be worked out before launch.

As a yearly purchaser of this game this might be the worst in recent history. Had to get a refund. If you are going to charge $70 please at least have a working game ready. Love a franchise with a created QB which lost some good features. Also, couldn't get through a single game without the created QB disappearing from my roster. Do better EA.
Enjoy getting sacked every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time as soon as you snap the ball. It's like this game was designed by 6 people in a basement that never touched grass and don't know anything about how football is designed to play. Whoever programmed the O Line in that basement must be brain dead because playing offense is UNPLAYABLE. Don't get this please. The only good thing about this game is that the soundtrack is pretty good. That is literally the best part of the game which is pretty sad.
Superstar is genuinely just a somehow shlttier version of road to glory in cfb 27. Game is buns pls invest 70 into cs crates.
