Fun NFL game

Thought the sim in franchise was rigged so decided to test said theory. Had some fun on Very Easy trade difficulty and built a 96 ovr team across the board. Surely this team wins the Super Bowl. Team proceeded to have the, and I kid you not, worst defence in the entire league, finish 12-5 and lose to the New York Giants, the base Giants, in the wildcard round, by 15 points. In another one I had been grinding and after a couple years had traded away almost all my picks to get the chicago bears to a 89 ovr by 2027. Play the packers, 83 ovr, week 1 so because I didnt trust the sim at this point, I decide to play the moments. To my utter shock I dont get a single offensive moment (91 offense btw) whilst the packers score 35 points on my 88 rated defense in 3 quarters. This would be midly acceptable if the gameplay is good but it just isnt. Defenders dont stick to their zones, my 90 rated offensive line sheds its blocks in 2 seconds allowing rushers to sack my qb or jam the run before my brain can comprehend what is going on, my receivers just stand there whilst I am scrambling trying to make a play, and trying to swtich to the right player on defense makes me want to do unholy things. Even 2k managed to figure out how to make you switch to the right player, hell even FIFA did. The game is poorly made and concealed in UI redesigns and roster updates that make unfortunate consumers buy it every year. This is my 4th Madden in 6 years and I am happy to say that for the forseeable future it will be my last. Screw you EA.
