Tuto hru jsem miloval, když vyšla a nic se na tom nezměnilo. Ten pocit, když se naučíte trať a projedete ji flawless jiná arkáda nepřekoná. Nechte fyziku a udělejte nad ní remaster grafiky a urvu vám ruce.
music is ok; the music reminds me of 90s techno some maps are better than others and speaking of the actual gameplay: the amateur cup seems pretty difficult at the first playthrough but once you learn the maps by memorisation through the 5 or so laps, intuitively understanding the fastest way around corners, the handling physics; it starts to feel pretty easy. Some maps have very narrow corridors to drive through and if a single car crashes it's pretty much going to set you back pretty far, if you start at the back that is. handling physics = gets fun over time: it was pretty difficult to get used to but after a few hours of gameplay it got pretty fun though, i'm not going to lie. the audio gets kind of annoying over time: specifically the horns and i'm not kidding the cars all together do sound like bees and this was an opinion of mine until someone else said it somewhere too LOL conclusion: I'd say it was worth it, there's definitely a bit of replayability involved but I wouldn't say that it's the greatest game ever or an option over others. 7/10 the handling does get satisfying though :)
11/10
I have yet to unlock all races, I did unlock all tracks once via Amateur Championship, but I'll say this, while it has no widescreen support and controller support is mainly thanks to Steam Input, a game this cheap usually would trigger red flags, but it is an obscure racer from 2001. Does it stand out even in 2025? No! But what it is, it's perfectly cromulent, for a dirt price. Not sure if the cars have much of a different, but they seem to be mostly the same performance....which is good because in all races, you will NEVER be alone, unless you have skill issues, like the AI too, will. The physics are also kinda 2001 jank, but the fun level of jank. Online is no longer possible due to dead servers and what not, but even then, for a singleplayer experience, it more than gets the job done. This is pure arcade action at it's finest, especially when the controls of the car are so, so good. But if you remember how old games used to kick your ass, believe me. This is no different. You get this game, you better practice because AI doesn't seem so different between Amateur and Professional. They will wallop you, they'll chase you like sharks, they will be breathing down your neck, at almost all times. Get this game, even with the discount of 25% off, this is literally another piece of obscure media, that's actually done right.
