This is a neat little game developed by students from a game-school in Montréal, Canada. It's not a completely polished project up to professional standards, but it comes close and it is defitinely a lot better than most of the low-cost thrash that floods Steam these days. The idea behind it definitely works: progress through the levels of a 2D-platformer by using two different skins and solve some very easy puzzles in doing so. Combat feels a bit clunky, sounds aren't always present and the music gets repetitive very soon. But the idea is good, graphics are fine and animations show real promise. A fine example of what students at modern-day gaming schools are able to accomplish: more than a lot of those scam-developers who flood Steam with their thrash.

Awesome for a 1st game!
Cant even play the game because every time i try to open it i just get a black screen which locks up my computer and i have to reset
Oke, so I get this is a school project and its free, but In no way can I recommend to play this game. It looks alright, yet feels a bit unsharp? If thats the right word for it, like it ain't pixelated correctly. The combat feels a bit shabby and has a delay, like if u hit and want to move to the opposite side u have to wait a second till the animation is done. Also, there only is a sound effect if u hit someone, the motion itself, like when u swing in the air produces no sound. As for the music, it gets really repetitive and stuck into your head. There are quite some bugs; had a blackscreen, got stuck below an elevator and even became superman, floating through the air (video below at the end for superman action!). I couldn't complete the game and am not sure if I even got to half, either the game wouldn't let me or it was that unclear what to do. I would have like to seen a bit more, just out of curiousity. Because the one thing where this game might shine, is the puzzle elements in it. O well, after a few rounds of introduction to the game, being restarted a couple of times, a tune stuck into my head, I at last, gave up.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrzTtNFH2r0
"Dystopy" is another school project, this one from Campus ADN in Montreal, Canada. And, weirdly, just like the last game I reviewed, it's another one of those games where the developers seem to think Dance Dance Revolution is the pinnacle of gaming and try to shove QTE/rhythm mechanics into every other game genre they can find. And, as always, it fails disastrously. This time they decided that retro platforming would somehow be better if you had to play Dance Dance Revolution while you platform. This does not make platforming better. No, this is not a good idea. Do not do it, game developers. And this is even more disgraceful because the teachers at the college allowed the students to think this kind of thing is okay... how are these guys going to get jobs in the industry if the teachers teach them wrong on purpose? The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. In fact it's a real shame to see such great graphics wasted on a poor game concept. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.
R0-X4-N3 dans une décharge
wow this is a cool game its a action puzzle platformer sorta like a blaster master game with a mech the frame rate was not so good but the game it self for free is a really cool find i m sure the frame rate issues will be fixxed i give it a solid 8 out of ten taking into account tht its a free game
