Fun game all around, I just don't get that despite having literally infinite stamina while doing crazy parkour and sprinting 24/7, the minute this dude gets into a fight he becomes a fat chud who cant swing a weapon around for more than 2 seconds when his life literally depends on it. Also the weapons may have well been built out of cardboard as they have a tendency to fall apart after 3 hits
To be honest I expected way more from this game, the story feels like a lot of ideas thrown in a moshpit and what came out was nothing fairly good, the level system, made this way especially, is also something that kind of ruins the game's feel and how much enjoyment you can get from it the boss fights were....something? It felt like constant repetition of patterns and nothing new at all, boring till the very last second, it really made me feel like it was just a loop, and also the fact that when playing co-op you can't gain beast points which causes several problems nor the grappling hook for some reason is very disappointing from such a highly admired game all around. Parkour is awesome although glitchy sometimes and also humans are somehow tougher than zombies eating headshots for breakfast like its deadpool althought not the reason for the negative reccomendation. However drop kicking will always be fun. Still would rather play DL1 and 2 all over again to forget this. And bosses are just way too unfunny to kill honestly its TEDIOUS how much they made them and the volatiles bullet sponges there's nothing thrilling about it only run for your life gameplay

one reason ~ dialog, active choice when there are two options.

it feels like an apology for dying light 2, and quite honestly: apology accepted.
Decent addition to the franchise. I know that this was originally intended as DLC for DL2, but I don't think that justifies the small and very underwhelming map with large parts of it dominated but nothing forests. Story is okay, but is definitely dominated with fem-coded modern slop plot points. The best part about this game is the combat and exploration - It was fun enough to mostly outweigh all the negatives. Worst part - The jank - getting caught on objects, not maintaining motion after opening weapon/item wheel, and the absolutely absurd reach of the zombie lunge. PS - Dear Millennial devs - I know you've never had to read a real map in you lives, but when reading a map, North is oriented toward the top.
