Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The story was honestly really good and probably my favorite part of the game. It kept me interested the whole way through, and I liked where it went. The combat, though, was pretty disappointing. It felt slow and sluggish a lot of the time, and some fights just didn’t feel smooth or responsive. It got frustrating, especially when you’re trying to fight multiple enemies. On top of that, towards the end of the game, I never really felt that strong. The weapons felt weak and didn’t feel satisfying to use. Even when I got better weapons, they didn’t really feel like an upgrade, which made the combat even less enjoyable. Overall, I liked the story, but the combat really held the game back for me.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best PL #8, worst CN #56 · 12 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36/day in the week to Jul 30 → 34/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Dying Light: The Beast was game i was looking to play since release. Graphics look amazing. I just miss paragliding from Dying Light 2 that was so fun ! I think The Beast is worth buying especially for Dying Light fans.
very good game it is been a long time i haven't had such good time in a zombie game.

la beeeeeeeeeestia 👍
Compared to the rest of the series: Having just finished a coop playthrough, I can recommend this latest installment of this franchise. If you liked a previous installment of this franchise, you will probably love this game. It is mostly the same, except better polished. It takes inspiration from both its predecessors, but is closer to the original Dying Light than to Dying Light 2: Stay Human. The night is once again truly dark, full of dangerous monsters and you probably shouldn't be out at night without a good reason. This game is more horizontal than vertical, particularly compared to Dying Light 2: Stay Human. The grappling hook is not necessary. The cars are mostly superfluous compared to walking, but you probably want to learn the controls anyway for quest reasons. There is a level system for loot in this game, which is a mechanic I usually hate, but in this game it didn't really bother me. With every level you get to loot mostly the same stuff, so in practice it kind of resembles weapon maintenance. It has the best pacing of the series: a mix of highs and lows. Once again running away is usually the best choice, unless you need to clear a location. Volatiles are once again a threat, instead of the token farm they were back in Dying Light 2. The big new addition in this game is beast mode. It provides an interesting mix to the usual pacing: when the beast mode triggers most combats are quickly won. The beast mode flips the usual dynamic of strength between Kyle and the zombies on its head for a moment. This lets the player complete content that they "shouldn't" too early. It feels very powerful. On the other hand, it felt a little repetetive to go into the beast mode to defeat a boss for the eighth time. The story: This story is fully linear, unlike Dying Light 2: Stay Human. The Baron was a great villain: he was just truely evil from the start (even before the outbreak). Unforunately he doesn't get to talk much until the very end. The collectibles tell his story. For the first time in the series this game features an ending fully playable in coop and is great, instead of being terrible. The writing: The world of this game is visually beautiful, but also serious, tragic and cruel. It feels like real place, inhabited by people with real hopes and fears. The writing quality has improved, particularly compared to Dying Light 2. Every quest had a story to it. There are some interesting collectibles, such as an in-universe podcast. There is some humor in dialogue, but mostly in the quest names. Negatives: There were occasional technical issues. Sometimes the server booted me out just as quest rewards leaving me slightly behind in progression for the rest of the playthrough. I suffered from a very annoying memory leak that requires restarting the game every couple of hours as it turns into a slide show. There were very few night missions. It is an improvement that the night is now something to be avoided, but a few more night missions could have provided a challenge. Warning: This game is grotesque. If you don't want to look at zombies (and humans) getting torn apart, this game probably isn't for you. There is a lot of blood, guts and body horror. Gore, gore everywhere.
