I have really enjoyed my time testing this indie title. Well made puzzles, an interesting artstyle that never gets old, an intriguing co-op system and music that fits perfectly; this title is one that any indie puzzle fan should consider adding to their library.
A quick and fun indie puzzle platformer, Dyadic brings back local co-op with it's intuitive controls and simple mechanics. There are some quirky interactions with traps and doors that I discovered by accident, but used effectively, can hinder or kill your partner. When playing this with friends the local aspect really increased the chances of messing someone up to steal back the glowing statue. The music also provides a nice ambience and feel to the aesthetic stages which also provide information needed to solve some of the more difficult puzzles. The game is quite short, but you can have a decent amount of replayability with new friends (because you'll know where all the traps are). Overall quite an enjoyable indie title, especially if the local co-op feel of the game appeals to you. 8/10.
Pleasant aesthetics. Promising concept. I would have liked to see this game well-executed. In January 2017, it isn't. * Controls feel unresponsive, like the characters ignore jump-commands when moving too close to edges. Sometimes they stick to corners for no good reason. * Bugs. Mirrors that only work on specific places of specific lightbeams. The occasional disappearing artifact. Stuff ranging from minor nuisances to frustrated forced level restarts. I genuinely don't know if there's an actual ending. I played the last level twice, placed the artifact at both recepticles, but nothing happened. While quite irritating, these flaws come across as relatively simple to address. The puzzles might be a little on the underwhelming side, but still perfectly enjoyable. The game's just a little more polish away from a thumbs up. I'll check back on it later, see if this needs an update.
Excellent puzzle game. Unique art style and interesting play style

Dyadic is a challenging and entertaining couch co-op puzzler. The levels progressively become more difficult, with increasingly sophisticated puzzles. But every puzzle teaches you lessons that can be potentially applied toward the next puzzle. Keeping an open mind and being patient allows one to succeed! The artwork is aesthetically pleasing and the soundtrack works well with each level, making the experience more immersive and adding depth to the gameplay. My wife and I really love this game and plan to play it to completion. Kudos to the developers on a job well done as this type of game is tricky to get just right! Disclosure: I bought this game on a recent Steam sale for a fraction of its suggested price.
Inaccurate controls and full of bugs.
It was fun in local co-op until the black myst chasing level.
