About
The mighty Dahlan Empire is falling, ravaged by a mysterious plague and internal unrest. While surviving powers and invading nations fight among themselves, adventurers and mercenaries venture inside this land full of opportunities.
Create your character and embark on an epic journey, enjoying complete freedom in a true sandbox RPG experience. Everything you do affects the world and its people. All important events are recorded. All characters will interpret what’s happening based on their morality and their faction.
The game’s narrative changes based on your choices and the people you help, making your adventure in the world of Dustgrave unique to you.

The characters will judge your good and evil deeds based on their personality or faction. You may be a robber, despised by common folk, but selling stolen goods could kick-start your career in the local crime groups!

Factions will fight against each other, pillaging and conquering settlements. Some may become major players in the area. Others may be destroyed forever.

Create and customize your main character in every aspect, and roleplay your alter-ego in any way you want, without any external constraint.

Carve your own path, whether you join the Astralite clergy to fight against the heretics or steal apples from commoners! Many paths are available to you: criminal mastermind, righteous hero, ruthless mercenary, or wise archeologist.

Smash your enemies with a complex yet accessible turn-based combat system! Thanks to a unique combat system you can experiment with Skills and Items combinations. Find overpowered combos and destroy everyone stupid enough to fight you!

Use a stealth system to do anything you want. Steal something? Check! Assassinate someone? Check! Watch people sleep? Check! Pickpocket Marco during a quest and use his keys to rob his house while he's still kidnapped? Quite specific, but still doable!

Cool idea. Im a big Mount&Blade guy so this is a cool little chill version of it for me (still different in a lot of ways ofcoruse), plus it has some additional interesting mechanics. What i would change: 1) remove the X-X+30 damage stuff. You can just do "Average Damage: X +/-15" and then it will be much faster and easier to compare weapon damages. 2) The information provided for skills is a bit confusing, idk how to describe it though. 3) Add a way (like a bell you can ring) to get NPCs out of their beds if you really wanna do the trespassing and stealing stuff, although that part of the game is kinda unnecessary to me. 3) Mby add more microprogressions with weapons and armor. 4) One more face type that is round, but the same size as the two sharp ones

A must buy if not for you then for the pizza you never bought your dog or cat or for the seed you never fed those always starving wild birds. Wordlow Oliver 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
I actually like the game, but I have to give it a negative review. Personally, I don't understand the changes they made in the last update. In every RPG (and I've been playing since the Atari days), you choose a class at the beginning. Only getting it in this game at level 2 makes absolutely no sense. How am I supposed to know which attributes my class needs? Why can I allocate attribute points during character creation but not choose a class or even preview them and there skills beforehand? I checked the game again after the update, but these changes are definitely detrimental to an RPG. Hope this get fixed.
Quite fun
I wanted to like this game. Parts of it are cool. Map exploration, basic story. But it is completely bugged at campsites and some initial dialogue around fights. Also really long load times into campsites and towns. It needs more work.
Has Great potential! Looking forward to more content and experiences.
I spent a few hours playing and really enjoyed the experience. The game pulled me in right from the start. The world is big and interesting, and i felt like i had the freedom to do things my own way, every choice i made seemed to matter, which made the journey feel personal and unique. combat was fun, and i liked how i could try different approaches depending on the situation. Exploring the world was also exciting, with new things to discover around each corner. had a great time and i am excited to see where the game goes in future updates. 100% Recommended <3
Aside from the obvious UI problems everyone's talking about, this game shows plenty of promise. I hope things continue to get fleshed out because so far so good. I heard somewhere that the UI is AI-generated, which is disappointing. That does explain the jankiness and why it's not so appealing to humans, I guess. I just hope the dev steers away from AI-generation and its unlicensed use of IP and such. This UI really does make a good example for why it should be avoided for quality's sake in the first place, though, even if you don't have a proper ethical stance against it.
I bought this game because I liked the premise. I am a big fan of sandbox style RPGs where your choices affect the world around you. I haven't put a lot of playtime into the game yet, but I wanted to leave a positive review, because the devs creating this title are amazing! OwNathan always responds to player's comments and feedback in both the Steam forums and their Discord. You can tell the team is passionate about creating a top notch product shaped by the players and for the players. I have encountered a number of bugs such as my dash attack not working, some actions like being able to knock someone out not working, etc... But I have played the game during several version iterations now, and each one has felt like a significant improvement over the previous version. The devs confirmed these issues are either already being fixed or being looked into further, so I can't ask for more than that. If you are interested in participating in shaping a cool and unique sandbox RPG in the style of Mount and Blade, I'd highly recommend picking up Dustgrave now and joining the Discord to provide feedback. If you can't tolerate bugs or missing features, then maybe hold off until the 1.0 release, but be sure to wishlist it and revisit it later. I truly believe it's going to be a great game once the additional features and polish are added.
