I haven't beaten the game yet but I REALLY don't want this game to end. Feels like a classic ps2 style action platformer, it's sorta like ratchet and clank mixed with jak and dexter and a touch of Kingdom Hearts.
Incredibly well made platformer from a small team. You can immediately tell they were inspired by 2000's style platformer titles, and it's wonderful. it's like a mix of jack and daxter movement and kingdom hearts aesthetics with a new age perfect dodge mechanic thrown in. definitely a shorter game, but I enjoyed every minute!
Amazing game it reminds me of so many ps1 and ps2 classic platformers GIVE THIS GAME A TRY you wont regret it!
Game runs well on my hardware at 120fps. Only issue involves some cutscenes being slow; I don't know if that for cinematography or not.
They totally nailed the "Hidden PS2 Gem Vibe" with this game. If this came out in 2002, I def would've bought it with my pocket money and would still tell people to play it because its so satisfying to play. The only thing I didnt liked was the combat outside of the boss fights. Later in the game I decided to put it back on normal because it was really getting frustrating and annoying with some enemies, but thats really the only "bad" thing I have to say about this game, otherwise its amazing. The story was nothing groundbreaking yet it kept me going and even made me shed a tear at the end. So well done Developer. The platforming is beyond satisfying. It just works and feels smooth, they knew how to design a great platforming experience without getting bored. Looking for the collectiables is also very fun and made me enjoy the platforming even more, will def do the 100% in this game. I highly recommend it for everyone who enjoys Jax & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, etc.
A love letter to platformers from the PS2 era but with gorgeous graphics and satisfying yet challenging platforming due to its great level design and stunning art direction. Story can be cringey at times but its definitely not the spotlight in this journey. It also runs great on my PC. 8.5/10.
