Excellent game
just overall a fantastic game seeing various PS2 era inspirations

Another game I'm choosing to review early, before I even get half way through the game. Why? Because this game has blown me away. Every aspect of this game oozes with love and care. You can easily tell the developers had a blast working on it. The music, visuals, and feel are all incredible, and I have had to stop at the main town a few times to take in the beauty. It absolutely takes me back to a time where games had love and care on display. I'm enjoying the story and gameplay so far, and will update this review when I'm finished. Just from what I have played though, this is worth every penny.
Fun 3D platformer! Great movement, Extremely responsive controls, fun platforming, rewarding exploration, and beautiful world design (plus the game just looks great in general), only thing lacking is the combat is not the most in depth but the difficulty keeps it interesting for the games runtime.
The game visuals are awesome, it runs on an older GPUs smoothly. Good: + Visuals + Platforming + Few difficulty levels + Excellent music + I mean, really excellent music + Price is awesome Bad: - Main protagonist being "dumb" - Mediocre story and dialogues - Unbalanced fights: easy mobs and ultra hard boss fights. Difficulty level seems to not do much for boss fights, with time jump sections having static time regardless of the difficulty settings - Final boss sequence is totally ridiculous, no checkpoints etc. 1999 game design. - heavy attack seems to not do more damage but just being slower Overall, I recommend for the initial price. You can't get anything better for this price in 2026. The length of the game is about perfect and music + visuals are awesome. I hope there will be a second game but please for the love of God, do not make boss fights harder and try to make another "souls elder rings two hit death" type of games, keep it normal. Die hard gamers can go play elden ring, don't spoil platform genre.
*Duskfade* is pure gameplay heaven. Playing it feels just like booting up a beloved PS2 classic for the very first time, capturing that gorgeous old-school charm perfectly. The controls are razor-sharp and incredibly clean, layered with tons of clever movement nuances and tricks that make simply getting around a total joy. It is hard to believe this is a debut title because the level of polish and design is remarkable. I cannot recommend this game enough, and it already feels like my personal Indie Game of the Year. Absolute must-play!
Recomendado totalmente.
Classic PS2 era platformer. Combat is really simplistic, and the story is pretty standard. But it brought me back to those good ol' days from scouring the level to find every secret.
