I came from Ultrakill. I'm not going to compare it to Ultrakill. However, this game is incredibly clunky and frustrating to play. the save system is outright awful. map layouts are incredibly unclear, and the gameplay isn't fun enough to justify playing through the entire game for me personally. I don't think this is a bad game by any means, but I don't recommend it at least right now, if I finish the game I might end up changing my review.
This game is very similar to the first Quake game in many ways, down to diagonal bunny-hop movement (which is absolutely intentional as the screen even shakes when you do it). It also features levels that function similar to older shooters, by having three keys you must collect to progress as well as many different secrets you can find with loot. The overall feel and look of the game leans into the Quake style as well in mostly positive ways. It is also similar in a negative way, and that is it's progression. There isn't much in the way of progression outside of entering the level, finding weapons, then moving on to the next. It of course makes up for this by just being incredibly fun to play, and finding secrets was weirdly enjoyable despite the loot always being things that you can get in reasonable quantities elsewhere in the levels.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Kill the intruder
Good until it introduces the climbing mechanic, then it just get annoying.
quake but backflip go brrrrrrrrr
jogo bom
This is a very good boomer shooter. Though, being a New Blood game, it's less about just blasting through the game and more about finding all the side content, like secret levels and Easter eggs, etc. Really cool that they added multiplayer too. Who wants to 1v1 me on DUSKWORLD?
jogo muito bom pra quem gosta de boomer shooter vale a pena !
This game is phenomenal. This game is one of the best love letters to the original Quake I have ever played (though I have not played many). The story, the gunplay, the movement, and the level design is all brilliant. The Enemies: Everything about the enemies in this game are simply brilliant. The slight normalcy of the regular humans slowly devolving into nightmare grotesque flesh creatures as you get deeper into the madness is fantastic. I especially love that you can tell each enemy apart based purely on sound alone. The Weapons and Powers: My eyes absolutely lit up when I retrieved another pistol and discovered dual wielding. Not every weapon is capable of duel wielding; the capability to do so alone makes everything better though! The other weaponry in the game is fairly standard, but still so satisfying to use. I like the unique idea of the sword. Adding a stealth mechanic that doesn't slow down the pace of the game is impressive. The added addition of being able to hurt enemies with the gun flips is an added bonus. The power-ups are well designed. The powers are also stackable. Each power up is unique enough from each other to where they do not feel the same. The Movement: The movement can get a little wonky in the best of ways. Standard running and strafing feels tight and responsive. Jumping can be fun with added in flips. Being able to slide around is fun too. The movement is buttery smooth in this game which allows for great gunplay and gameplay in general. Big thanks to the janitor that waxes all the floors! The Levels: There aren't any levels that feel poorly designed or confusing. There is always a somewhat clear way to go without the game having to hold your hand. If a door opens up for from where you are, the game is nice enough to give you a direct or general idea of where it opened up at. The environmental designs of each level are astounding. They flow in a direction that makes sense in terms of evil cult taking everything over. Everything appears slightly normal and gradually devolves into madness. I do love that many objects are interactable. Being able to pick things up and throw them at the faces of baddies is quite fun. This game is a blast to play. Remember, Gary loves you.
