Monsters lurk around every corner in Hinterberg, and your sword and magic skills are essential for keeping them at bay. Harness the wind, conjure a hoverboard out of thin air, or freeze your enemies in a jelly block!

This game will always have a place in m heart! It's a pretty easy game, no complex mechanics or puzzles, but it's amazing! it's really cool to interact with the characters and get to know them, form relatioships and the system to increase your stats! I really enjoyed the game's soundtrack and graphics, it's really unique! It took me longer to finish the game cause I wanted to max out all characters relationships and get all achievements.
"Zelda, if Link was a burned out Austrian Millennial." A delightful and charming game filled with novelty and playfulness, with thoughtful writing and just enough combat depth to sink your teeth into. Even more impressive when you see how small the dev team was! Can't wait for their next game.

Um jogo que me surpreendeu bastante positivamente. É um ARPG simples, de mundo semiaberto (há regiões com características específicas). A história é muito legal, não se limita somente a exploração das masmorras na cidade de Hinterberg, tendo um pouco de política, amizade, valores éticos e morais, mas sem mimimi. A maioria dos personagens são simpáticos e há uma evolução deles no decorrer da história. O combate é legal, a gameplay não é difícil, mas apresenta desafios muito bem elaborados, que ficamos satisfeitos em resolver os quebra-cabeças e sem ficar chato/massante ou tiltar. Cada subárea apresenta diferentes tipos de magias, que influenciam nos quebra-cabeças, então não são repetitvos e ainda conseguem diversificar o uso das magias em uma mesma região, amei muito. Fora o design das masmorras, super bem elaborados, digno de muitos elogios. Super recomendo para quem quer gameplay e desafio mais leve, mas que tem uma história muito boa.
Absolutely loved this. The puzzles and level design are exceptional, the combat is fun, the downtime activities tie back into gameplay in interesting ways, the main story is really cool, the sound design in great, and the visuals are lovely. Just a very creative game that always had me itching for just a little more. My one major nag is that the individual character stories were fairly boring, I wish your dialogue choises mattered, because without any real input it's just these characters saying a lot and communicating very little. But the clunky dialogue might be a translation issue and the fast forward button is always available. (LOVE that it's a fast forward, not a skip.) Wonderful game, and I was delighted to see it leaning on Austrian folklore, it's very unique!
Gutes Spiel mit abwechslungsreichen Dungeons. Die Grafik muss man aushalten. Genau die richtige Länge. Wenn in Österreich jemals magische Dungeons entdeckt werden würden, würde es im Ort genau SO ablaufen 😆
I really loved this game. I'm the kind of person who will buy a game and then never beat it because I'm notoriously bad at locking in, but I played this game start to finish and I want to 100% it. The art style is very unique compared to other games I've played and the hovering snowboard is a lot of fun to me. I loved the different abilities and that you didn't have to stick to one area at a time, instead you could do low level dungeons in any area which made it a lot more exciting to play because you didn't get stuck with any one ability. The puzzles were super fun and not too tricky for the most part. I personally really liked getting to know the townspeople and giving gifts along with exchanging trash or monster parts for perks. The only thing I would critique is that some of the animations are clunky, especially kayaking. Overall I highly recommend Dungeons of Hinterberg!

Cozy explorer/dungeon-crawler/socializing game. Does everything competently, probably won't blow you away but it's fun.
