Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 9 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ok, I am only giving this game a thumbs up because I am being nice. Really, this game is very grey. It is a bad game but it is a game that tries. And it isn't a terrible game. There is far worse out there than this. Yes, the game has terrible graphics and really slow, weird, clunky character animations of cringe value. Yes, the levels are uninspired, boring, and confusing to navigate. But there is an actual working game here with content and aspirations. The best I can compare this game to, is the artwork of Sixth Grader. The kid really tries and works hard, they even show some promise. Nevertheless, its still the work of an amateur Sixth Grader. Only good enough to post on the fridge or in the halls of your elementary school. So, can I recommend it? No. But at the same time, I think the creator of this game was passionate and did try. I mean it is a working game that's very subpar, but it's not terrible. I haven't run into hardly any bugs or crashes. Which surprises me with the very jank animations and cringe look of it. The developer shouldn't be dissuaded from continuing making games. They just need to improve a lot more before trying to make a serious release like this one. This game should have either been left at home as a practice made game or if released, released not on steam but someplace like Itcho. Because, it is of a quality that will hurt a developers reputation if released as a professional working title on steam.

I got this on sale for like 1.99 or so. Worth it as a decent time killer. No town exploration scenery, its click and do, other than a tavern room you can deco up for buffs. So tavern room, town square and dungeon. Thats it. For an old school dungeon crawler it looks good and plays good, though the combat swings are hela slow and your recovery time from a swing is tedious. As for recommend yes or no, there really needs to be a 50/50 category because thats where I hold this in my opinion. It took less than an hour to make that decision.
The game is okay for an indie game. However combat is horrible. The swing animation stops all movement, due to this you cannot dodge enemy attacks and will quickly die. From playing the first part of the dungeon I felt that my combat/dodge skills were not a factor in combat, it is just stats that matter. I would not mark this game as action, the combat is closer to MMO feeling. I can't recommend purchasing this game.

Buggy, kinda janky, slow and with some real quirks to it. Everything a fan of first-person dungeon crawlers like me wants. It's like a Sword of Moonlight game that got out of hand (an RPG maker style engine for Kingsfield games) and I like it for that. Definitely a "for fans of the genre" only kind of game, so if you weren't excited just by looking at it, I really doubt it will do anything to wow you. It also has some really amatuerish decisions that give a bad first impression, but again, I like it in spite of that. Still, that font is so bad...
Dungeons & Darkness is a first-person dungeon-crawling action RPG developed by Yamiuchi Project and published by PLAYISM that embraces a deliberately old-school approach to fantasy exploration. Rather than guiding players through a heavily scripted narrative filled with cinematic set pieces, it places them directly into the depths of dangerous underground labyrinths and asks them to survive through combat skill, careful exploration, and resource management. The game’s premise is simple yet effective: descend into dark, monster-infested dungeons, gather powerful equipment, confront increasingly deadly foes, and push deeper into a world consumed by ancient evil. The experience is presented entirely from a first-person perspective, which heightens immersion and tension. Narrow corridors, dimly lit chambers, and sudden enemy encounters create an atmosphere that feels claustrophobic and threatening. Combat occurs in real time, requiring players to swing weapons, cast spells, and maneuver defensively without the safety net of turn-based pauses. This immediacy gives battles a raw, physical quality. Enemies vary in size and threat level, from smaller creatures that test reaction speed to larger adversaries that demand careful timing and positioning. Success depends not only on raw damage output but also on awareness of surroundings and stamina management. Progression in Dungeons & Darkness is driven largely by equipment discovery rather than a deeply layered character leveling system. Exploring hidden rooms and defeating powerful foes yields new weapons, armor, and magical tools that expand combat options. This loot-centric structure encourages thorough exploration of each dungeon floor. Magic adds further variety, offering offensive spells and supportive abilities that complement melee combat. The interplay between physical weapons and magical attacks allows players to tailor their approach to different enemy types and environmental hazards. The dungeons themselves are designed with a focus on traps and environmental dangers. Spiked floors, concealed pitfalls, and narrow choke points require careful navigation. Rushing headlong into unknown spaces is often punished, reinforcing the game’s emphasis on deliberate pacing. While the layouts can sometimes feel repetitive, the tension generated by their design keeps exploration engaging. Mapping corridors mentally and learning enemy spawn patterns become essential skills as players push further into deeper levels. Visually, Dungeons & Darkness favors atmosphere over spectacle. Its presentation is minimalist by modern standards, relying on subdued lighting, shadow-heavy environments, and modest textures. This aesthetic choice aligns with its retro inspiration, evoking the feel of earlier first-person RPGs. While it may lack the graphical fidelity of contemporary titles, the darkened corridors and echoing sound design effectively build tension. The ambient audio reinforces the sense of isolation, with distant noises and sudden combat sounds amplifying unease. Narrative elements are present but understated. Lore is conveyed primarily through environmental storytelling rather than extended dialogue or elaborate cutscenes. Players piece together the broader conflict and history of the world through exploration rather than exposition. This design choice gives the game a subtle depth, though some players may find the lack of overt storytelling limiting. The emphasis remains squarely on gameplay and atmosphere rather than character-driven drama. Reception to the game reflects its niche appeal. Players who appreciate retro dungeon crawlers and challenging first-person exploration often praise its commitment to classic design principles. The satisfaction of uncovering powerful equipment and surviving difficult encounters resonates strongly with fans of traditional dungeon RPGs. However, others note that its mechanics can feel rigid, and combat responsiveness may lack the refinement of more modern action RPGs. Level repetition and sparse narrative delivery are also common critiques. Ultimately, Dungeons & Darkness stands as a focused tribute to early first-person dungeon crawlers. It prioritizes tension, exploration, and equipment-driven progression over cinematic storytelling or modern convenience systems. While its rough edges and limited polish may not appeal to every player, those seeking a moody, combat-driven descent into shadowy labyrinths will find a challenging and atmospheric experience. It is a game that understands its roots and commits fully to delivering a dark, methodical adventure through perilous depths. Rating: 6/10
