Very fun game, and my kids can watch me play. I'll get the switch version for them once it's out.
A really fun game to pass the time. Not overly complicated, but charming and enjoyable. Great concept, great mechanics and I would highly recommend it for anyone 10+. Well worth the money.
This game saved my marriage.
another lovey indie game i got to demo at a convention and quickly fell in love with the art style and the game play. its pacman, ducks and a rougelite all mixed into a great game
I haven't played anything like this before... it's a fun and challenging roguelite Pac-Man where you try to rescue ducklings, escape danger and attack your enemies with weapons and magic. There are some very cool boss fights. I like the pixel art and audio is solid!
game is a steal for $5. it will also steal many hours from you as you collect your babies and level up your mama.
A Nostalgic yet Fresh Take on the Pac-Man Genre There’s a certain 1990s wholesomeness to this title, mixed with a very fresh take on the Pac-Man genre. This rogue-like RPG is a testament to the determination and passion of the developers. Playing this game feels like being transported back to a simpler time in life—when bills weren’t a problem, health issues didn’t exist, and all I needed to do was game, sip on a soda, and try to beat my last run. Gameplay & Mechanics Every attempt in this game is a slow build of adrenaline. The strategy required to manage your energy while making the best use of the fruit scattered across the maze keeps your brain running at full speed throughout the dungeon. The mixture of tantalizing collectibles, power-ups, and shop items creates a deeply engaging RPG experience. You genuinely feel yourself getting stronger with each moment. The pacing is exceedingly well-crafted and deserves the accolades it has been receiving in reviews. Characters Each duckling has a distinct personality, reminiscent of Navi from Ocarina of Time. They offer helpful tips that are both charming and useful. Akira, a playful cat who wants to keep you safe (and take your money), adds a fun dynamic to the game. Panda, a sweet and kind bear with a love for reading, adds depth to the world. The sound of book pages fluttering as Panda reads made me want to crack open a book myself. The villains are just as delightful. Big Boss Bergeron, for example, exudes a Cajun cook vibe—I can practically imagine this alligator whipping up some crawfish for me. The other villains are equally memorable, adding both personality and challenge to the game. Their mechanics are simple but tough enough to keep things engaging. Final Thoughts Overall, my time spent in this game has been incredibly rewarding. With 20+ hours split between the alpha and the live release, every moment has been a joy. I’m excited to eventually beat the game in its live state and experience even more of what it has to offer. Game Score: 9/10
Really fun game. It's a Pac Man type clone with a hint of Flicky. Reminds me of the old school shareware and Amiga games from the 90s.
Someone finally figured out a way to make a great rogulite using the classic Pac-man formula. GG!
I played the demo over and over again while waiting for this game to come out. Glad it's finally here.
