This is a QuackMan Roguelite. Battle the evil Lich and his undead minions to rescue your ducklings. Classic PacMan controls but with an added ATTACK button that can destroy walls and vanquish enemies.
Gameplay: Play as Mama Duck and navigate your way through the evil Lich's dungeon maze. Rescue your lost ducklings and form a giant chain of ducks. You must battle waves of undead minions. In this adorable QuackMan Roguelite, you can customize Mama Duck with hundreds of different gear combinations. Your gear gives unique active and passive abilities. They are also adorable accessories, so you can fashion up your duck.

Dungeons and Ducklings is a concept I never thought would be fun, a roguelite pacman. It takes the concept of pacman and adds a fun twist that is surprisingly addictive. Trying different items and weapons against all the different bosses is very fun and the progression system is excellent. This is a great indie game with a lot of heart and charm. Sure it has some jank but that doesn't take away from the fun.
A great rogue-lite mashup of Pac-Man and other top-down shooter type games (like Vampire Survivors, 20 Minutes Till Dawn, or Bioprototype). Extremely cute visuals, good controls, and full voice acting (my favorite line is "Quack!"). I haven't beaten it yet, but it seems like it's also not going to overstay its welcome, either. I think there are 4 bosses, and I've gotten to the 3rd boss after 2 hours worth of runs. The biggest challenge appears to be beating the game with every weapon, but I expect a run to be around 15 minutes, and there are only 8 weapons.

The choice of whether to save your children from a living nightmare or keep them around to use as squishy meat shields is quite the moral dilemma, but I consistently find myself making the right decision.
A very fun game! I really enjoy games like Pac-Man, and this is has a lot of the same vibes but with a more rouge-like twist. Upgrading your duck between runs is fun. You can feel a sense of progression especially when it comes to your Kill Combo. The value of the coins get multiplied by your Kill Combo, so early game getting a 2 or 3 Combo is the most realistic, but later your combos can get to 10 and above. This creates an interesting loop where you have attacks to use but you may want to hold them until a bigger group of enemies come AND you see an attack refresh power-up to get a chance of making your Kill Combo even higher. Definitely a more chill game that has nice vibes to it. I'll definitely be playing more!
