Dungeons and Ducklings

A really interesting mix of pac-man and roguelites. Easy to pick up, funny, cute, replayable, with nice difficulty progression.

A very fun game! I really enjoy games like Pac-Man, and this is has a lot of the same vibes but with a more rouge-like twist. Upgrading your duck between runs is fun. You can feel a sense of progression especially when it comes to your Kill Combo. The value of the coins get multiplied by your Kill Combo, so early game getting a 2 or 3 Combo is the most realistic, but later your combos can get to 10 and above. This creates an interesting loop where you have attacks to use but you may want to hold them until a bigger group of enemies come AND you see an attack refresh power-up to get a chance of making your Kill Combo even higher. Definitely a more chill game that has nice vibes to it. I'll definitely be playing more!

The choice of whether to save your children from a living nightmare or keep them around to use as squishy meat shields is quite the moral dilemma, but I consistently find myself making the right decision.

A highly worthwhile game to buy and enjoy.
