la nostalgia de jugar este juego con mi padre y mi hermano en la xbox siendo bien pequeñito solo se puede comparar con la alegria de ver este juego en steam, de oferta y con muchisimo mas contenido de el que me esperaba/ o recordaba. increible
I wish the game wasn't dead.
"Hello kind Sir, my name is Osburn, the Squire, may I interest you in my story? It won't be long, do not worry. So, this is the story of me, Osburn the Squire and Saroumane the Apprentice my brother. Apparently, our parents had left the Kingdom for a crusade on the other side of the world, with 99% of the town population, except a random bald man. Aang the Monk and Eileen the Huntress played near a little random blue crystal and broke it, unleashing something in the world that summoned entire armies of monsters in front of the Kingdom. So we had to defend it against all odds, and succeed we did, the Monsters chieftains all fell from my sword attacks, while my brother's towers did quick work of the minions. We then finished the campaign and had beaten the Dragon in Medium difficulty, hooray! We then moved on to Insane, and surprisingly, our own scaling allowed us to win against the enemies, however, with quite some difficulty, especially against some chieftains... Then I discovered the Mortar tower and the game was trivialized, just place one in each lane and they're done for 15 - 20 rounds, just kill the few 500k to 2m HP Ogres and you'll be fine, with my new weapon obtained on the Summit, I could deal 107k damage per hit on rage! However on the side, Saroumane had its progress severely slowed down, items became weaker and weaker, causing Ogres and Kobolds to easily breach his defenses because, while he did not lack firepower, he lacked in firerate. I started doing survivals, placing turrets with my Squire then switching to Aang and Eileen to level them up. Aang auras made things even more easier, one mortar, one slow down aura and no enemies will leave it. So considering how easy it was, I thought it was time to try survival on insane... Well, yes and no. First, I discovered mythical items, they were weaker than my current items. Secondly, enemies HP cramped up real fast, but that was possible to handle, what was NOT possible to handle, however, is spawning multiple Ogres with 2.3m HP going at mach 10 at the same time. I of course, ended up losing, because an Ogre destroyed a mortar and enemies breached an entire side while I was protecting another side from another Ogre. Didn't obtain a single useful item from it, but got some good money. Then we tried Nightmare difficulty, on the first map, thinking it would be an OK to hard challenge at best... Well, no. You see Left 4 Dead difficulty scaling? Common Infected hit in normal = 1 or 2 HP Common Infected hit in expert = 10 HP Well here it's similar, they give you a few boosts, and in exchange, they remove 60% of your damage, or more. I went from 102k damage to 3200 damage at best, against 5000 HP spiders and 800k HP Ogres who go fast as ♥♥♥♥. Ridiculous scaling, unbeatable unless cheating in a way or the other. Anyway, we played the Lost Eternia Shards questline, first boss reduced all incoming damage by like 80%. I could kill 2m bosses in 8 seconds but couldn't even deal 400k damage to the boss in 50 seconds, and while the fight happens, you get INVADED by Spiders who stunlock ALL your towers and destroy them, thus allowing the infinite hordes of Ogres and Kobolds to destroy everything. 11m HP, take reduced damage. Also, since you can't host your game sessions, in case of ANY lag spike, you get immediately kicked out of the game, so if like me, you have a few internet spikes, beware playing online even alone, you WILL lose your progress."
