About
DuneBorn is an open-world survival and extraction game set in a post-apocalyptic desert. The experience can be played entirely solo, following your own journey, or on shared servers where other players also explore the desert.
The world is ruled by Raiders, colossal mutated creatures, and hostile convoys fighting for territory and resources. Beyond these threats, the desert itself is relentless. Extreme heat, toxic dust, and violent sandstorms turn every incursion into a constant test of survival and decision-making.
Your vehicle is the core of that journey. More than transportation, it serves as shelter, support, and a safe point of return during missions. Keeping your vehicle close is essential. Far from it, any mistake becomes costly, and losing it can mean the end of an incursion.
Explore dangerous regions in search of resources, face Raiders and mutated creatures, and move toward the extraction point when you decide the moment is right. On shared servers, other players may also cross your path, making every decision even more unpredictable. The more you carry, the greater the risk. Extraction is never guaranteed.
Your car is more than a way to move across the desert. It is your mobile shelter. Improve performance, durability, and mobility to handle brutal terrain, sandstorms, and unexpected ambushes.
The desert is home to giant and aggressive insect-like creatures that guard rare materials. Facing them is a choice. Surviving them is not always guaranteed.
Ruins and abandoned facilities have become strongholds for Raiders and armed convoys roaming the dunes in search of resources. Confronting them means constant danger, but also access to valuable rewards.
The sand shows no mercy. Toxic dust, extreme heat, and violent sandstorms force you to prepare, adapt, and continuously upgrade your gear.
Between incursions, return to your Safehouse. A personal refuge where you recover, organize resources, upgrade equipment, and prepare for the next journey.
Explore ruins, camps, and the remains of fallen creatures. Turn what you find into upgrades, supplies, and improvised solutions that expand your chances of survival in the desert.

Vraiment...
Not Good :(
Its pretty ruff and bare bones but its still fun. The aiming for the gun needs help like a reticle so you can see where your shooting but the survival, crafting, and vehicle management(gas, repairing ect.) are awesome! I like it so far and hope they keep working on it! I bet the pvp and playing with friends will be fun. I haven't played the mad max game but i hear its like that but you can play with friends. Im goina play more for sure.
I feel this game has potential, but as of right now I don’t believe it’s worth the £10 price tag. Personally, I would have released it as Early Access rather than as a full release. On top of that, people need to stop referring to it as a Mad Max–style game. Yes, it has a wasteland setting and raiders, but that doesn’t automatically make it Mad Max. That would be like calling Fallout a Mad Max game — it just isn’t. If anything, Crossout has far more of a Mad Max feel than this game does. I watched a YouTuber who described it as a Mad Max game and also claimed it has vehicle customization. That’s not accurate. The game doesn’t really have true customization — it has vehicle add-ons that are unlocked through XP and level progression. For example, level 5 unlocks better armor, level 10 unlocks something else, and so on. From what I can see, the vehicles only seem to have around three upgrade stages: armor (which appears to give you weapons), bumper, and exhaust. It’s not even clear what some of these upgrades actually add to the vehicle in practical terms. To be honest, after the first transport into the wasteland, it’s interesting — but then it just repeats over and over with no real variation. And when I say “transport,” you don’t even get to drive to points of interest. Instead, you start the world, an airship drops you into the wasteland inside a cargo container, and that’s it. The world feels like a repeat each time. I think this game could be genuinely great if it had true vehicle customization — being able to swap out engines, add weapons of your choice, upgrade armor properly, and find different wheels or even entirely new vehicles to use or cannibalize for parts to build something that suits your own playstyle. Add deeper interaction with NPCs, meaningful points of interest scattered across the map, and make it a proper open world where you can freely drive around, trade, explore, and even build a base. If it had that level of depth and player freedom, this game would be awesome.
Great, burgeoning, Mad Max inspired game. Can't wait to find a convoy mission.
Haven't played much but I like what I'm seeing so far. The game is still in very early development despite steam showing full release. It's from a small development team that are pretty active in player feedback on discord. So don't expect too much too fast. The tutorial needs some work. Car physics are a little off but you can tweek them by adjusting the suspension to a point. The graphics are pretty good. The world feels a little empty, but the developer literally asked for ideas on how to fix this from his players. So while it might not be triple A, these guys are on the right track and taking player feedback seriously. Give it a shot and support this inde game development team to add more to this game. I for one am excited to see what they add next. Join their discord also.
i like the concept reminds me of road warrior *......* its still is in a early stage but a work in progress 8)
Dont waste your time and money. its a full release but feels like early alpha
