Erzurum is a somewhat low-key asset flip/Unreal kitbash. The developer acknowledges that they took assets from other people to make the game, but only loosely credited those asset creators who inadvertently did more work on this "game" than the actual "developer". While it's possible the assets were used with permission, and thus this is not necessarily copyright infringement or plagiarism, it's still creatively bankrupt... stock assets are intended to be used as placeholders or guides for developers to create their own assets, not as an "ez-mode" alternative to hiring the right staff and doing the proper job of artists and content creators. There's also the old axiom... those who can't create game assets properly usually aren't particularly capable of any of the other parts of game development either, which is certainly true for this game. Regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. So this game has you take on the role of a Turkish survivalist running (trudging) around in freezing Unreal asset flipped environments trying to keep yourself alive... it's dry, clunky, amateurish and totally un-fun to play. The idea is that you're supposed to collect supplies, guns, keep yourself alive and fend off bears and wolves. If I had to sum up the quality experience here, this is to "Last of Us" as Turkish Star Wars (Dünyayi Kurtaran Adam) is to Star Wars. If you've never seen the Turkish Star Wars, well, you're in for a treat. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality which fits with the idea they weren't developed by the game creator... they look like they're "just reasonable enough" to go on sale as part of an asset pack. The issue of asset flipping aside, ultimately the quality of these assets is low and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience. The game assets, such as they are, are much higher than the general quality of the game and it seems apparent the developer has just plagiarised/kitbashed them. Stock assets are just there to be used as placeholders while the developer creates their own assets for their games, but what happens far more often is lazy/unethical developers just throw a bunch of other peoples assets into a blender and put their own name on the horrible Frankenstein's Monster that results. Like this mess. Those technical flaws drag this game well below the minimum quality standards expected of a modern PC game. Next is pricing and value. Is this game worth buying from among the 140,000+ games on Steam? Erzurum is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product. The quality problems and defects with this game makes the asking price totally unrealistic. It's impossible to recommend this to gamers here on Steam.
