Duck Detective: The Secret Salami

This game was super fun! I initially worried about the mystery being too easy and was pleasantly surprised with the way it actually unfolded. It was short, sweet, and fun. I'd definitely recommend it.

basic price is a little expensive for a ~2h game, they improved this with the Ghost of Glamping. game is quite enjoyble tho, hope this is a recurring title.

調査パートで現場の状況や人間関係を把握しつつ、「単語」を集めていき、収集した単語を組み合わせて事件の状況を説明する文章を作るゲーム。 事件の背景を推測して全容を説明する文章を完成させればクリア。 - 微かなヒントは一応散りばめられているものの、見つけた手がかりだけで推理するよりも、ある程度は背景事情の想像も重要になる。 - 英文は比較的単純なので、英語のセリフを読むことに慣れていれば翻訳無しでも楽しめる。自動でセリフが送られる場面も少ないので辞書を引きやすい。フルボイスなので音声の雰囲気も英文読解の手助けとなる。ただし手書き文章の読解は大変。 - 隠し要素などの奥深さとなる要素は特にない。 - 少し短いかも。 - 大半の会話は繰り返し可能だが、イベントシーンは一度しか再生できず、ごく一部のイベントシーンはその内容が推理する上で重要となるのが個人的に欠点。

Love the duck detective! The dialogue is funny and stupid, the stakes are low, and I genuinely didn't know what was going to happen next. I started, stopped and came back a couple of times and found it easy to pick up where I left off. It's a great game if you're looking for something quick, cozy and casual.

This game is really cute and funny. If you are looking for a short detective game with charm, look no further. The controls are easy, the game runs smoothly. I wish the made them longer only becouse I never wanted it to end. Hopefully they continue the series.

It's simple. It's cute. It's silly. A funny short little game where you get hired to find out who is stealing lunches from the local bus station office, and it quickly spirals into a grand conspiracy. It's a low-stakes whodunnit with a small but interesting cast of characters, simple but engaging fill-in-the-blank puzzles, and fully voice acted dialogue. It runs great on Steam Deck, and the controls are very simple and intuitive. Great if you're looking for something lighthearted and funny to pass the time.
